Ozon Baby

Ozon Baby belongs to Poor Tom and runs on its own, needing no direct command from its master to keep working. Jobin Higashikata studies its behavior and concludes it operates automatically at long range, blanketing a zone roughly one hundred meters across. Its power grows sharply whenever Tom himself is close by, while burying the model house in soil dampens the pressure it spreads.

At rest the Stand looks like a tiny replica of the LEGO White House set, plain and unremarkable in every way. Once roused it shifts into a half-human mechanical shape that hovers on mismatched wheels, wearing a spiked bag-like helmet stamped with its own name above a fixed, grinning face. This body is only a threatening mirage made of air, so blows aimed at it pass straight through as if nothing is there.

The true threat is the way it warps air pressure to seal off a region. Hollow containers cave in, and people caught inside suffer aching ears and bleeding noses. Anyone who steps out of an enclosed space is struck far worse, as gas trapped in the blood froths into bubbles that rupture vessels in the eyes, nose, and ears within seconds. Closing a door restores safe pressure to that room, yet lingering there is no refuge either, since the pressure indoors slowly mounts until it crushes a body inward.

Ozon Baby serves Poor Tom throughout its run in JoJolion. Jobin Higashikata is the character who finally deciphers how its automatic, long-distance nature functions.
