Shaped like a kappa from Japanese folklore, the Stand sports a beak, a reptilian tail, and a skull that recalls a Pachycephalosaurus. A crackling electric aura wraps its frame, and that glow steadily fades whenever it operates cut off from a current. Most artwork paints it a vivid yellow to suit its charged nature. A codpiece of shifting length hangs from it, though the anime keeps that detail far more subdued.

Otoishi conceals who he is by routing his voice and shifting expressions through the creature's face, leaving onlookers convinced the Stand itself is doing the talking. After his clash with Josuke and Crazy Diamond dumped it into the sea, its charge scattered along with much of its body, and it was left dismembered and effectively wrecked.

The Stand is a threat that scales with nearness to power. Its reach and its knack for slipping through electrical systems keep Otoishi almost impossible to trace, and a fully charged version can physically overrun and outpace Crazy Diamond. The trade-off is a complete dependence on some supply of current to act at all.

By drinking in electricity it lifts its raw power and pace and even mends its own wounds, going so far as to siphon the whole grid of Morioh. Those surges burn enormous amounts of energy, so it must linger beside outlets and lines to hold its stamina. Once the stored charge runs dry it withers, trades its glossy gold sheen for a rusted husk, and begins to vanish, which puts Otoishi's own life on the line. A brush with water triggers the same collapse, dispersing the electricity outright.

Its other trick is to live inside flowing current, tucking away in cables or batteries and darting between distant points along the wiring. Anything it grips can be turned into electricity and relocated at will; a living victim caught this way is dragged into the circuitry, electrocuted, and killed, the fate that claimed Keicho Nijimura. Otoishi leaned on this to lift roughly five billion yen in goods across town and to eavesdrop on his enemies.

Akira Otoishi is the sole wielder, and the bond runs both ways, since the Stand's destruction would drag him down with it. Its ratings sit at the very summit of the series, tying Kiss and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap for the strongest overall spread of any Stand.
