Yellow Temperance

Yellow Temperance is the Stand carried by the con artist Rubber Soul during Stardust Crusaders. It manifests as a shapeless mass of yellow matter with no eyes, nose, mouth, or any other features, and because it is fused directly onto its owner's body it can be seen by ordinary people, unlike most Stands. Its name and appearance both nod to the Temperance tarot card, a symbol of balance and the mixing of opposites, though the blob has no mind or character of its own.

The Stand's central trick is assimilation. Any organic material it touches gets absorbed and converted into more of itself, so it steadily swells the more it feeds. Even a tiny smear left on a person begins creeping outward across their skin, spreading along everything it contacts until the victim is entirely consumed and killed. This hunger makes it relentless, constantly reaching for something to devour.

It can also reshape Rubber Soul's outward form almost instantly, letting him wear the face and body of others. He once seized a woman's identity in a ski lift in the blink of an eye, and the substance can even imitate other Stands, sprouting a convincing copy of Hierophant Green while he posed as Noriaki Kakyoin. On top of that the blob functions as living armor, soaking up enormous impacts and shrugging off blows, flame, and ice alike while protecting the user tucked beneath it. Its one true limit is that it cannot compensate for plain human weakness, so Rubber Soul still needs to breathe, and the Stand only stays effectively unbeatable for as long as he remains alive to wield it.

Rubber Soul is the lone wielder, a treacherous agent working for DIO who uses the disguising power to impersonate Kakyoin and get close to Jotaro Kujo. Since the Stand draws all of its strength from him, he is also its single point of failure.
