Roses

Roses is an elderly man who wears a chauffeur's cap. He has grey hair, a horseshoe mustache, blue eyes, and a face touched by a few wrinkles.

As driver and butler to the Joestar family, Roses has grown deeply attached to them over his years of service, to the point of anguish over Holy's illness and Suzi Q's apparent ignorance of it. Despite his age and gentle manner, he is a capable fighter, able to overpower a Yakuza member without much trouble.

Roses has looked after the Joestars for three decades, going back to Holy's childhood. When illness strikes her and Joseph sets out for Egypt, the butler is left responsible for Suzi Q. During the group's long journey he escorts Suzi Q, together with a member of the Speedwagon Foundation, to see Holy, wrestling with whether to tell her about the Stand-induced sickness. Unable to bear upsetting her, he had held back, but with time possibly running short he resolves to prepare her for the worst. Her carefree fascination with Japan brushes his warnings aside and pushes her into a clash with a Yakuza member, whom Roses swiftly puts down. Suzi Q then reveals she has known about her daughter's condition all along and trusts that Joseph will find a way through.
