Appearance

Youthful in his features, Baru wore his dark hair down to the shoulders, matched by eyes of the same color. His clothing followed the Uchiha standard, the clan crest stitched across the back of his mantle. A harness ran diagonally over his right shoulder with a lone pouch riding above his chest, a sword hung from his left hip on a white belt, and two more small pouches sat at his back. When active, his Mangekyō Sharingan took the shape of a curved black triangle.

Abilities

Little is recorded about the full range of his skills, but he counted among the rare Uchiha to unlock the Sharingan early, and he advanced it to the Mangekyō Sharingan, rendered as a triangle with gentle curves along each of its sides. He commanded the clan's Izanagi technique, a reality-bending genjutsu, and the sword at his hip marks him as at least a capable hand at kenjutsu.

History

Baru lived through the ceaseless clan warfare of the Warring States Period. In one clash his group faced an enemy that sprang a trap and wiped out the comrades of a fellow Uchiha named Rai, until Rai reversed the loss by giving up one of his eyes to invoke Izanagi. Once the opposing force fell, Baru turned on Rai and challenged him for command of the group, striking him down with his own Izanagi. His triumph proved short lived: as he stood celebrating, his remaining clansmen turned on him and killed him.
