Komichi

A little boy with cropped brown hair, Komichi has wide, dark eyes. His outfit is simple: a plain green top, beige trousers, and pink sandals.

His whole character turns on his attachment to a stuffed bear named Kenta, which he treasures so dearly that he returns to a hazardous village just to recover it.

Within Jiraiya's tale, Komichi ignores the warning from Team Jiraiya to flee and slips back with Ashitaba to fetch his bear. The two run into Team Asuma inside a house, and though Ino Yamanaka and Shikamaru Nara try to calm them, the frightened boys shrink away. A clash then erupts as Yahiko attacks Team Asuma, and a panicked Nagato lets loose a blast that levels the house and drops the pair into a pit below ground.

Down there, enormous worm-like beasts nearly kill them again and again, and one finally swallows Komichi whole. Ino saves him by seizing control of his body from inside the creature with her Mind Body Switch Technique, tormenting it until the combined ninja slay the monster and pull him free. Reunited with his mother, the family heads home, but Komichi loses the bear once more along the way. Just as Yahiko moves to hand it back, a massive detonation wipes out the village and everyone in it, Komichi included.
