Corto

Short and thickset, Corto keeps a red-and-yellow wrestling mask on at all times, its surface dressed up with bolt shapes and maraca prints in lucha libre style. A patchy beard frames his jaw, and brown hair pokes out from beneath the mask along his neck and crown. He throws on a vivid yellow jacket with rolled sleeves and shoulder epaulets that mark his vice-captain rank, knots a green foulard at his throat, and cinches a heavy studded belt over dark pants and white boots. Away from the submarine he dons a loud, ornate poncho.

He proves as ruthless as his sibling, ready to level all of Little East Blue to get his way, though he leans more toward business and hard practicality than Largo does. A streak of fear colors how he treats his brother, whose cruelty makes him wary, yet he respects Shiki deeply and craves a place among that captain's commanders. He dismissed the Straw Hats as weak pawns at first, only to be terrified once they overpowered his men.

As Largo's brother and the Amigo Pirates' vice-captain, Corto was the one who dealt with Shiki when the warlord handed Largo command of the fifty-first fleet and ordered the capture of the colossal kabuto beetle Boss, which had fled Shiki's menagerie. With Largo locked in an unwakeable siesta, Corto marched the crew onto Little East Blue, where it served as the island's guardian, and shelled the villagers, wrecking buildings that included the replica Baratie. Luffy charged in and, with Sanji and Zoro, beat the pirates down, until Largo woke, rescued his brother, and trapped the trio of pirates using his Ami Ami no Mi so Corto could finish a weakened Boss. When the molting beetle freed the captives, Corto fought the swordsman and the cook, was overwhelmed, took to the air, and was finally knocked out by a re-energized Boss. After Luffy downed Largo and sank the ship, Corto ended up caged on the island beside his crew. His weapons of choice are twin five-barreled guns firing explosive rounds, maraca-shaped bombs of even greater force, and a hidden belt of barrels, while his spinning sombrero grants him flight for ranged bombardment.
