Dark Ball is one of the many powers filed away in All For One's collection, lifted from someone the series never names. It throws out black spheres rimmed in purple that give off dark energy, and it surfaces during a single scattershot assault on the Armored All Might.
Written as Dākubōru in Japanese, this Emitter ability operates at long range and enters the story in Chapter 397, later reaching the anime in Episode 159. Its original holder is never identified; All For One simply took it, as he took so many others.
Firing it produces a spread of dark spheres, each one black at the core and outlined in purple, radiating dark energy as they travel.
All For One does not treat it as a standalone weapon. He folds it into a haphazard volley alongside several other stolen Quirks while trading blows with All Might, who fights him wearing the Armored All Might suit, which is the only demonstration the series gives.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
