Glamour

Glamour is a long-range Emitter power belonging to Camie Utsushimi. It fabricates convincing sensory decoys rather than doing damage, which makes it a tool of misdirection and rescue in her hands. Present Mic notes that abusing this sort of power is prohibited, a hint that illusion-based abilities sit under unusually tight restrictions.

A mist-like substance leaves the user's mouth and takes shape as an illusion carrying both sight and sound. Scale is generous, since a single projection can reach an impressive size, enough to occupy a large room.

Duration is the constraint. The images last only briefly before dissipating, and whether Camie ends them deliberately has never been established. Hologram covers comparable ground.

Camie Utsushimi is the only known holder, and her instinct runs toward deception: fake-outs that mislead opponents and cover for allies. When a Masegaki Primary School student caught Shoto Todoroki with Queen Beam, Camie answered with a phantom Shoto that flashed a charming face and paid the girl a compliment, distraction enough before it vanished. The same trick saved a life later, when All For One moved to kill Hawks with a spatial distortion power and her double bought the seconds Seiji Shishikura needed to pull the Winged Hero out.

She trains by studying people, once texting Class 1-A so she could build projections from their appearances and personalities. Her preference is to render figures in a shojo manga register, on the theory that illusions ought to be pleasant to look at. Seiji's Carnivore Carnival pushed her the opposite way, inspiring a horrific monster well outside her usual style.
