Horn Cannon

This Mutant Quirk belongs to Pony Tsunotori of Class 1-B, and it surfaces in Chapter 203 of the manga alongside Episode 95 of the anime. The premise is simple: the horns crowning her head come off, and once free they become long range weapons.

The Ultra Archive databook printed the name well before the story itself confirmed it. Fans often line the power up beside Fierce Wings, since Keigo does much the same trick with feathers that Pony does with horns.

Pony can unload horn after horn without pausing, because fresh ones regenerate on her scalp nearly the moment the old ones leave. Up to four of the launched horns stay under her remote command, letting her bend their flight path mid air and curl them around cover. To direct those floating horns she raises her hands beside her head, miming the shape of the horns she is steering.

Raw output backs the trick up. Her horns pinned down Mezo Shoji despite his considerable physical strength, and they shoved Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu away even with his body hardened into metal. The curve of each horn suits piercing and staking an opponent in place. They also serve as transport, hauling Pony or several allies and cargo at once, though anything they carry drags their speed down sharply.

The horns are not unbreakable, and keeping them tough demands that Pony eat keratin. There is a cruder counter as well: grab her horns and hold them still, and the Quirk simply cannot start. Her named techniques include Horn Dash Hammer, a tandem move where Tetsutetsu turns to steel and Pony's controlled horns hurl him at a target, first thrown at Shoto Todoroki during the Joint Training Battle. Thunder Horn sends a volley downrange while four steerable horns hover in reserve for support and ambushes, first used on Mezo Shoji in that same event. Horn Surf has her riding her own horns to move or withdraw, and two of them alone are enough to hold her weight.

Pony Tsunotori is the only known holder. Her partner in Horn Dash Hammer is Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu, whose Steel Quirk supplies the projectile she throws, and the Joint Training Battle supplied her showcase opponents in Shoto Todoroki and Mezo Shoji.
