Aorio Kuraishisu

Two horns rise from the top of Aorio's skull, and the ears beneath them taper to sharp points. Coloring divides his head oddly, a pale face set against darker surrounding skin. The flat, lifeless quality of his eyes completes an impression that reads as demonic. Business clothing anchors the rest of him, and he appears in an unremarkable suit.

The series has not opened up what Aorio is like away from a camera. His temperament, private opinions, and motives all go undocumented, leaving only the professional face he presents on air.

Aorio's work consists of reading the professional hero industry and unpacking its finer points for people outside it. That expertise puts him on a television program after the violence at Deika City, where he weighs how the public has begun to regard heroes.

His assessment is that an era may be turning. Difficult, unpopular calls by heroes once drew condemnation, and he detects momentum building instead toward open, enthusiastic backing. He resurfaces later during the Dark Hero Arc, and once more amid the Final War.
