Chapter 241

Reporters visit the Class 1-A dorms to cover how well Shoto Todoroki and Katsuki Bakugo worked together against the Cider House crew. Asked whether they are close friends, Katsuki bristles, and Shoto's cheerful confirmation winds him up further. The broadcast then cuts him entirely, leaving Shoto on screen and his classmates laughing. Izuku judges the behavior un-All-Might-like, while Kyoka Jiro and Momo Yaoyorozu just feel sorry for him.

Scanning the news, Izuku finds coverage of Deika City, ruined by around twenty people. Tenya Ida notes the destruction outstripped Kamino despite a lower death toll, and Ochaco Uraraka and Mina Ashido observe that opinion has been shifting since the boy who shouted for Endeavor went public.

Mt. Lady and Midnight arrive to run media exercises. Shoto goes first, lost until she walks him through it, and answers her question about his motives with something oblivious. Asked for an Ultimate Move anyway, he raises Heaven-Piercing Ice Wall and details its applications, then tells Kyoka and Toru Hagakure he intends to reach his father's level.

Fumikage Tokoyami questions whether students should broadcast their signature attacks. An ultimate move expresses a hero's real character, Mt. Lady answers, and calling one out is not showboating; Aizawa adds that pros everywhere are working to show who they are. The class gets through the drill cleanly. Katsuki detonates his, and Midnight and Aizawa agree he belongs far from cameras.

Izuku closes out the session stammering so badly that Eijiro Kirishima jokes he has mastered Hardening, while Tsuyu Asui recognizes plain inexperience. Mt. Lady breaks the stall by noting how much of his repertoire echoes All Might, and he lights up until Midnight raises Blackwhip. Concentrating on the image of unlocking it, he manages a thin wisp, impressing neither pro. Katsuki looks disgusted at how pleased he is.

At the teachers' dorm, Nezu asks Toshinori why he looks even more skeletal than usual. He has been compiling notes so Izuku can grasp what Quirks the earlier One For All holders carried, and Nezu reveals another round of work-studies begins soon.

Izuku can draw out only a fraction of Blackwhip. The postponed work-studies are restarting, All Might turns out to have known all along which Quirks the earlier holders carried, Nezu flags his worsening health, and Aorio Kuraishisu debuts on screen.

Chapter 241, by Kohei Horikoshi, opens the Endeavor Agency arc, seventeen pages in volume 25, published September 2, 2019 in issue 40. Shoto, Izuku, and Katsuki share the cover, and Episode 101 adapts it.
