Bee☆Pop

Stripped of her host, Bee☆Pop is a queen bee, and an unpleasant one, her abdomen swollen to a grotesque bulk.

Inside Kazuho Haneyama she wears a corrupted take on the Pop☆Step vigilante costume. The cut is pared back and made more revealing, the mini-skirt traded for a belt closed by three red heart-shaped buckles, with canisters riding at its sides that most likely hold Trigger. The devil wings become a bee's, the black mask is discarded, and the tight knee-high stockings give way to looser boots. Honey-colored lines and stripes run across the whole thing. She finishes it with heavy black shadow around her eyes, lipstick, painted nails, and her hair falling over the left side of her face. Trigger alters her further while it lasts, darkening her skin, blackening her tongue, and sharpening the points of her hair.

What Bee☆Pop thinks is Kazuho's mind fused with a parasite's. She began as the remnant of the swarm Kuin Hachisuka once commanded, kept and cultivated for years by Number 6 before he let it take Kazuho. Like her predecessor she is cruel for pleasure, and she stages the cruelty. She hijacks broadcasts to perform, sings while her Bomb Bees flatten buildings, and maintains that she is making Naruhata more beautiful. She bills herself as Pop☆Step upgraded, treats her victims as an audience, and signs off telling them to stay hyped for the next show. When Miu and Yu try to reason with her, she waves them off and drops a billboard on them, lecturing them on the appeal of danger and the thrill of being feared. Trigger is part of the act, presumably to make the bees do more damage.

Soga Kugisaki reads something else under the brightness: a person who cannot locate the line between right and wrong, and who seems to be suffering. Koichi Haimawari is the engine of it. Her feelings for him have collapsed into one confused mass in which love and hatred are indistinguishable. She despises him and mocks him for reaching out too late, while needing him never to forget her. Her private voice admits she once pictured a life where Kazuho married him and raised children, and having judged that future gone, she settles on dying instead, engineering a finale so complete and devastating that his failure to save her would follow him for good. She tries to end it inside her own Bomb Bees' blast, but Koichi breaks her hold on Kazuho first. The Queen Bee is afterward extracted from Kazuho's eye without harm, and hospital staff seal it inside a jar.

Queen Bee lets her seize a human host and brings an enormous swarm of workers along with her. Trigger grants her limited telepathic command over them, but singing is the real switch, flipping the swarm into attack mode. Individual bees carry their own capabilities, including disrupting and hijacking electrical signals. Injury to them costs her little, which separates her from Kuin, who felt every wound done to her bees.

Possession also hands her Kazuho's Quirk, Leap, which carries her over buildings and off walls provided there is something solid to push from. It cushions her landing after a jump, though not an ordinary fall. How far Trigger enhances it is unclear.

Her signature is Bomb Bees, which she detonates on command and which pack enough force to level buildings, though flame and similar hazards can set them off without her meaning it. The power of her opening attack was measured against the devastation Ryuichi Gojiyama produced as a Trigger-fueled Instant Villain, and Endeavor rates the move as enough to erase a town outright, on par with a well-trained small army. She was dangerous enough that the authorities registered her as a villain despite her being a minor with one offense to her name, and dangerous enough that Endeavor moved to annihilate her at once with a wide-scale assault. Like her host, she is a gifted singer, which is what the performances are built around.
