Chiyo Shuzenji

A syringe juts out at an angle from the netted gray bun on her head, which is the detail most people notice first. Chiyo stands barely over a meter tall, her age written into the deep folds bracketing a wide mouth; her nose is tiny and her eyes are usually reduced to a pair of short dashes.

Over a dress marked with yellow and red vest paneling, a pair of yellow buttons, and a belt whose buckle forms a pink R, she wears a doctor's coat. Pink boots finish the outfit, and a helmet wraps the sides of her head with a purple-tinted visor across her eyes. Her cane is shaped like a syringe and doubles as a healing tool. Shortly before the Final War she looks considerably more frail, the likely cost of pouring her Quirk into everyone wounded in the Paranormal Liberation War.

Warmth is her default. She treats every patient gently and hands out candy afterward, since her Quirk leaves people drained. That kindness has a hard edge for anyone who gets hurt through stupidity, and All Might has heard plenty of it for never teaching Izuku Midoriya to handle One For All safely, as has Izuku himself for wrecking his body over and over. She eventually stopped repairing the damage One For All did to him, refusing to let the cycle continue, and pushed him toward a way of using the power that did not cost him his limbs.

She can be blunt to the point of unkindness. When Present Mic went down to a swarm of insects during the First Term Final Exam, his fear of bugs earned him no sympathy from her at all.

Medical Expertise: Her Quirk is not the whole of her skill. After the fight against Shoto Todoroki left Izuku's hand beyond what healing alone could fix, she operated on it, which points to genuine training as a physician rather than nursing alone.

Heal: Chiyo kisses an injury and the body's own recovery accelerates enormously, closing broken bones and ruined limbs within seconds. Her lips stretch to abnormal lengths to reach the spot. The energy comes out of the patient, and enough of it will kill; she throttles the effect deliberately, sometimes leaving a wound only partly mended so the person still has something left in the tank.

There are hard limits. Injuries past a certain severity cannot be closed, or cannot be closed completely, and nothing she does will bring back a body part that is gone.
