Crust

Black hair combed backward carried a streak of greyish-white running down from the middle of his hairline, above a well-built frame. A layer of crust coated the back of his right hand, almost certainly a byproduct of his Quirk.

His hero costume borrowed from Sparta. Armour of that style made up the bulk of it, worn with a green hooded cape, a black mask across his eyes, and a black shirt that looked stitched down the centre and carried a red pattern.

Crust wore his feelings openly. All Might's retirement reduced him to tears of grief, and he wept again out of regret at having had no part in the Kamino Incident.

Nobility ran just as deep. When Tomura Shigaraki's Decay came for Eraser Head, Crust put himself in the way and paid with his life for it. He disintegrated giving a thumbs up and a grin, a last gesture making clear he would not have chosen differently.

A place in the top ten heroes of all Japan is not handed out, and Crust earned his. He was a skilled fighter whose speciality was applying his Quirk in concert with others, and he had the raw strength and combat ability to face several Nomu at once, four High-Ends among them. That talent for team battle is why he ended up at the centre of the Hospital Raid Team's fight against the High-Ends.

His Quirk, Shield, grew stone-like hexagonal plates from his body, which he used to cover himself and everyone around him. He could push them out to considerable size and send them in multiple directions at once. They were not purely defensive, either: their edges cut through obstacles, and he could break pieces off and throw them for the same effect.

His ultimate move, Shoot Shield, took that idea further. He detached a fragment of shield, set it spinning, and hurled it at an enemy.
