Appearance

She is tall and full-figured, with black hair spilling well past her shoulders and sharp green eyes ringed in salmon eyeshadow above purple lipstick. Her dress is dark, the neck and upper body worked in a black cobweb pattern, cinched by a wide brown belt, with feather-like detailing at the sleeves and hem and falu red heels beneath. Golden crescent earrings and the family's wide-brimmed black hat, single red rose included, finish it.

Giulio's prosthetic gun arm costs her the hat and more. Kamile pulls her out, after which the left sleeve of the dress is gone, her shoulder is bandaged, and her arm sits in a blue cast.

Personality

Cruelty as play is a family trait, and Deborah has it. She asked Anna Scervino whether leaving the Gollinis had frightened her, then made the girl compliant with a look. Allies get the same treatment: she mocked Paulo for letting Ginji Kurau escape with Anna. Once Anna's Overmodification supercharged her Quirk she turned giddy, unbothered by a wave of Class 1-A heroes arriving, and told Deku and Giulio that nice dreams are hardly brainwashing and that neither of them would be left out of the fun.

Ruthless underneath it. Reading Giulio as a threat to the family's plan, she ordered him killed while he was helpless, first through a brainwashed civilian's long-armed Quirk, then by putting a blade in a controlled Anna's hand, which horrified the girl once she came back to herself. The composure is thinner than it looks. Having failed Dark Might, she could not raise her eyes to him. When Giulio pulled the trigger on an empty gun she collapsed into hysterical laughter, then into fresh terror when his remaining artificial limb, a propulsion booster, revealed itself. She ran. He caught her, and that was the end of it.

Abilities

Day Dream works on sight alone. Anyone she looks at drops unconscious, or into a hypnotic trance she can steer, for a brief window, the mind parked in a dream world built from its own deepest wishes and the body left nearly helpless, and she appears able to watch the dream as it runs. Normally she manages one target at a time. Amplified by Anna's Overmodification, the count becomes nearly limitless.

The gaps are specific. Technology and support items are immune, so anyone relying on them, as Giulio Gandini does with his cybernetic eye, can climb back out. Vestiges do the same job for a holder of multiple Quirks, which is how Deku surfaced. And injuring Deborah frees everyone she holds at once. She also carried a dagger, handed to Anna along with the order to kill Giulio.
