Reserved but approachable, En knows exactly what his Quirk can and cannot do, and he uses that clarity to coach Izuku Midoriya on fitting it together with the others. That resolve showed from the start: when Lariat, a Pro Hero he had only just met, revealed that One For All existed, En volunteered on the spot despite the older man's hesitation, and the Quirk came to him once Lariat fell fighting All For One. He then went on the offensive, assembling a fresh resistance of heroes that drew in Gran Torino along with the man Nana Shimura had married. Cut in half in his own battle against All For One, he still handed the Quirk to Nana and went out smiling.

His composure has limits. When Tomura Shigaraki stole Danger Sense along with the vestige of Hikage Shinomori, En was the voice urging Izuku to save himself and run, convinced the fight was lost. He also turned that harshness inward, calling Smokescreen the weakest of One For All's Quirks and arguing that he should be the first sacrificed. Watching Izuku wield it inventively against Tomura reduced him to tears, proof that it could pull its weight like any of the rest.

Overall Abilities: How capable En truly was has never been laid out, though carrying One For All implies real strength. It was not enough to bring down All For One.

Enhanced Endurance: Severed in two by All For One, he stayed alive just long enough to put One For All in Nana Shimura's hands, using his hair to do it. Wielding the Quirk at all demands a heavily conditioned body, since the raw power can tear a user apart if the physique cannot contain it.

Indomitable Will: All For One tried twice to take One For All from him and failed both times, a measure of how unbreakable his resolve was.

Quirks: Smokescreen let En pour out clouds of purple smoke thick enough to blind whoever was looking for him. One For All, handed down from Daigoro, hoarded a vast reserve of raw power and pushed every physical attribute into superhuman territory, granting extraordinary strength, speed, agility and durability.
