Appearance

Pale mint hair sweeps back off his head in long spikes, and the body beneath it is broad and heavily muscled.

His costume runs on gun imagery. The white mask carries four holes arranged in a square, three of them shaped like muzzles with short barrel stems jutting from the side, the fourth left as a plain circle. A padded combat vest wraps the flanks of his chest, anchored by a pair of straps running up to his mask and shoulders, and beneath it sits a partial bodysuit in dark grayish cyan that reaches over his lower torso, down his arms from the shoulder, and across his palms. Plain brown trousers and short black boots finish the look, along with the silver bracers shaped like revolver chambers that are his signature and the spikes riding his knuckles.

Personality

He is polished, warm, and a natural instructor. Combat brings out something composed and ferocious in him; away from it, people tend to be caught off guard by how kind he is. Ochaco Uraraka keeps noting the cute streak in him, whether he is striking a pose or needling her about her phone calls.

History

Gunhead attended a joint session that brought Pro Heroes together with the Police Force over the civilians who had been injected with Trigger against their will.

His name first comes up when Ochaco announces her internship pick to her classmates: the Battle Hero's Office. He opened her field training with a patrol, explaining what heroes are and how his own office operates, clamping down on crime and drawing a commission once the police call them in. The following day he instructed her and others on proper fighting form. After the Hosu Incident he caught her on the phone with Izuku Midoriya, told her the next session was about to start, and teased her about the boy on the line. He later put her through knife defense, where her fake dagger never touched him because his movement was too fluid, and he talked her through every step of the takedown that finished her. Back at school she called the martial arts training well worth it. She tried to intern with him again during the Shie Hassaikai Arc, but he had no room.

Come the Final War against All For One's army, he drew the assignment guarding civilians inside the Underground Evacuation System that runs below U.A., while other teams handled villains warped across Japan. The moving segments shuttling between U.A. and the grounds of Shiketsu High School suddenly stopped and the lights failed: sleeper agents planted by All For One had jammed the controls while undermining the foundations, and the shelter began breaking apart. Gunhead ran down the man responsible for the jamming while the other heroes dealt with the remaining spies. All the subordinates were put down, but the fighting left the block unstable, so he ordered every civilian up and out while the shelter crumbled around them. U.A.'s robots met them above and let them scatter wherever they chose, warning them off the heat and destruction from Dabi's Blueflames nearby, nobody aware he was on the verge of detonating.

His Quirk, Gatling, grows gun-like organs into his arms that fire claw-shaped bullets made of keratin. It performs well at short range, so he mainly puts it to work as suppressive fire. Alongside it he is an accomplished martial artist, and Gunhead Martial Arts is his own system, taught well enough to bring Ochaco an impressive distance in only a week.
