Present Mic is the voice of every big event at U.A. High School, an English teacher with a radio show, a permanent grin, and a scream that can make ears bleed from a distance. Behind the volume is Hizashi Yamada, currently the number 45 Pro Hero and one of the few people who knew Oboro Shirakumo.
Everything about him points upward. Blond hair, worn long, is spiked into a tall tuft behind his head while he works, and a small brown mustache sits below rectangular eyes with concentric pupils, red in the manga and greenish-yellow once animated. Tall and slim, he wears an almost permanent grin, and artists nearly always leave his nostrils off.
The costume is black: a jacket with a very tall studded collar turned up, matching trousers, and boots to the knee, set off by tan shoulder pads and a studded red belt and elbow pads, with fingerless black gloves. A directional speaker permanently hides his neck and channels his Quirk, and he is never without headphones, labeled HAGE across the band in the manga, and orange-tinted shades. As a second-year student he wore a near-identical outfit over a red shirt, though it lacked both the directional speaker and the shoulder pads, boosting his Quirk with wrist-mounted megaphones and wearing speakers around his calves. Eight years past the Final War, creases now sit beneath his eyes and the hair spikes straight upward, forcing his gray headphones on upside down; the speaker has been redesigned, and round glasses have replaced the shades.
The radio persona never switches off. He poses while talking, holds his volume and enthusiasm regardless of what the moment calls for, and calls crowds his listeners even standing on a live stage. Kyoka Jiro took him for a plain announcer rather than a working Pro Hero because of it. Given an audience he drags them up to his energy level and keeps at it whether or not they respond, hyping the Sports Festival past what happened and volunteering to commentate the remedial license training rather than sit through it quietly.
Insects break him completely. Koji Koda's swarm during the final exam sent him into a panic and then into a faint, and he admits to preferring cities to forests because of it.
Under the noise is a man capable of enormous anger. Learning that Kurogiri is a Nomu built from the corpse of his friend Oboro Shirakumo put him in a silent fury and a vow to kill whoever was responsible, and confronting Kyudai Garaki he raged less about the crime than about a mind that could have served humanity choosing evil instead, before eventually punching him for it. Where Shota takes Oboro's death emotionally, Hizashi is the steadier and more grounded of the two. During the Final War, warped out to sea, he was furious enough to tell Shota to abandon any hope of recovering their friend and let the Nomu be destroyed so Oboro could rest, and was reduced to tears when a piece of Oboro turned out to still be in there, a connection that let the heroes regroup against All For One.
Voice amplifies his own volume into something close to a sonic scream, loud enough to rupture ears at range. Its one known flaw is that the sound carries poorly through earth, which makes it useless against anything underground or shielded behind layers of soil.
His named techniques scale that up. Loud Voice pushes the volume higher and puts out a shockwave that shatters glass and throws back whatever is in front of him, Loud-Out Shout spreads a sound blast across a group, and DJ Punch is simply a hard right hook. The Directional Speaker System at his throat aims the amplified voice where he wants it, and during the first-term final exams he wore High Density Weights alongside the other teachers as a handicap.
He is sharper than the act suggests. He was the first staff member to float the possibility of a traitor inside U.A. and to lay out why, a deduction vindicated when Yuga Aoyama was exposed as All For One's informant. Teaching English at a Japanese school also implies fluency in both languages.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
No, Hizashi Yamada and Shota Aizawa are depicted as close friends and longtime colleagues at U.A. High School, not a married couple.
