Jurota Shishida

Tall, with shaggy brown hair growing over most of him, Jurota reads as beastly before he does anything at all. Sharp teeth crowd a jaw that juts out, two lower canines poking upward past his lips. Small rectangular glasses, the lenses thick and black, sit on top of that.

His hero costume keeps things spare: ordinary pants, dark brown boots trimmed with light fur at the collar, a shirt collar attached to no shirt, and stylized goggles swapped in for the glasses. Under Beast his size climbs sharply, the hair thickens and lengthens, and the fangs push further out.

The vocabulary is verbose and the manners are formal, both products of a well-mannered, indulgent household. Transformed, he turns boisterous and restless, which appears to be the Quirk talking rather than the man. He admires Hound Dog and envies the way that hero discards everything, something his own upbringing will not permit.

Class 1-B counts him among its strongest, and the commendations come from ferocity paired with clean Quirk handling. Beast turns him into a large beast-man and multiplies strength, speed, durability, hearing, and smell while making him reckless. He can swat a person through a wall, throw one a long distance, tear open industrial piping, and land hard enough to damage what he lands on. Denki Kaminari's electricity did not visibly slow him. His nose and ears pick opponents out and catch ambushes before they arrive.

The intellect survives the transformation, euphoria and all. In round one of the Joint Training Battle he worked out that Koji Koda's Anivoice would be tracking them and that the other side would fixate on Ibara Shiozaki, so he used her as bait and crawled in low, then hit Denki's group alongside Kosei Tsuburaba before they could finish preparing. He aimed at Eijiro Kirishima first as the only genuine threat, swiped him aside into Ibara's capture, and took Koji himself. An internship under Shishido, the No. 13 Lion Hero, sharpened his combinations and his ability to read a fight ahead of time.

Roaring Rage is a leap and a claw swipe that sends targets flying. Re-Beast drops the transformation for a heartbeat to slip an attack, then brings it straight back for the counter. Eight years on from the Final War he has graduated U.A. and works as a Pro Hero.
