Kuin Hachisuka

What Kuin actually is, underneath everything, is the queen bee herself, a creature with a grotesquely swollen abdomen. Her method was to seize a body, usually a young girl's, by installing herself inside the head. Every host shared a look: short hair swept across a missing left eye, that socket often hidden by a post-medical patch, and teeth filed to obvious points.

Tamao's body gave her green eyes and hair of an orange brown, two short ahoge sticking up where it parted. She dressed for school: a white shirt closed at the neck by a bow in light orange, and over it a varsity jacket of dark green marked at the left breast by a bee insignia in white, with a yellow one across the back above Queen Bee spelled out in red. Below came a short blue skirt, socks in black and orange drawn past her knees, and dark polish on her nails.

The host before Tamao was a girl with darker brown hair grown out at the back and small black eyes, wearing a comparable bee varsity jacket in purple over a yellow top.

What passed for Kuin's character blended Tamao Oguro's own with the swarm of parasitic bees occupying her brain. On the surface she seemed sociable and upbeat, a girl her friends called strange but otherwise took for an unremarkable student. That warmth was theater. Underneath sat a sadist, cold and clever, who enjoyed the harm she caused by dosing people with Trigger so they erupted as Instant Villains, bystanders be damned.

Vulnerable people were her targets: Teruo Unagisawa for his youth, Akira Iwako and Chuma Yakumaru for their addictions. She watched happily as Stendhal murdered Akira, and abducted Teruo to have him converted into a Next-Level Villain. The schoolgirl disguise bought her a carefree existence, and she committed crimes in the middle of daily life, mid-study or mid-meal. Nobody suspected her even when she posed for a selfie with Pop Step, or sat down to be interviewed by Koichi Haimawari alongside Makoto Tsukauchi. Stendhal turning on her and nearly killing her barely registered; she simply found it entertaining that the vigilante shed his masked identity. Her bees she called her babies, and killing them made her furious.

Predation ran through how she lived. She met men in order to kill them, take their money, and use their corpses as food and as hives, and households went the same way, everyone inside wiped out so she could live off their cash until it ran dry. Spite drove her too. Newly settled into Tamao, she attacked the girl's mother and left her mortally wounded where her father could watch, repayment for the bad memories. Confronted by that father, now the vigilante Knuckleduster, she bristled when the old man brushed her aside to speak to his daughter, and fled once she could not deter him.

Claiming she had treated Tamao's body well, she still chose to squeeze it dry to finish Knuckleduster and move on to a new host, very nearly killing the girl. Knuckleduster had planned for it: an improvised Taser Knuckle served as a defibrillator, saving his daughter and killing the parasite. One bee survived, and Number 6 captured it, letting the hive rebuild and a new Queen Bee emerge inside Pop Step.

Overall Abilities: Fighting was never her strength, but deception was. Himiko Toga was hunted and always moving; Kuin, anonymous and able to swap hosts at will, slotted into society and worked from the shadows under the pretense of a part-time job, causing several Instant Villain incidents without a single bee traced back to her. Only Knuckleduster found her. Cornered, she proved capable, agile enough to leap between buildings and outrun him, with the close-quarters skill to pressure him briefly before he overwhelmed her.

Queen Bee: Her Quirk let her commandeer a human host and stockpile an enormous swarm of worker bees inside it. She commanded them telepathically, and the swarm functioned as a hive mind that shared mental images, served as spies, and could seize people apart from her primary host. The bees held substances inside them and turned their stingers into syringes, injecting on contact or drawing blood in reverse. Killing a bee reflected the damage onto her: when Knuckleduster crushed a worker, blood ran from her eye. As a parasite she also depended on the host to think, so once its brain stopped, her reasoning and her hold on the swarm went with it, leaving her true body defenseless.

Electric Eel: A blood sample taken from Teruo gave her a second Quirk, letting electricity leap from her fingertips. She turned it on Knuckleduster to stop his heart, and it left her arm badly charred.

Bomb Bees: She could load bees with explosive material and detonate them on command, usually ringing an enemy before setting them off. Damage was slight and recoil on the host limited the count, so typically only the first was real and the rest were firecrackers used as a bluff. A genuine swarm came out only when she was ready to spend her host's life.
