Moe Kamiji

Sharp points finish both Moe's teeth and the tips of her fingers, and her wide eyes run red into orange. What draws attention first, though, is the hair: a long burning mane, rendered yellowish-green on screen and closer to gold on the page, parted into a pair of bangs at either side with one broad sweep crossing from mid-forehead toward the right.

For hero work she pulls on a double-breasted mini dress in light gray, trimmed orange and black, slit down both sides of the skirt. Her collar, belt, and wrist guards are black with a thin orange line, and the silver buttons look like flat screw heads. A second belt carries a temperature gauge at the front and a fire extinguisher at the back. Knee-high black socks and short black boots finish the look, along with a black mask cut much like the one Katsuki Bakugo wears, joined to a red headband. The timeskip leaves the outfit alone apart from slightly reworked boots.

The hero name is not decoration. Moe runs hot: passionate, loud with enthusiasm, and abrasive enough that she and Katsuki grate against one another. She marched the three U.A. trainees straight into the agency's enormous workforce on arrival and warned them that standing out among so many would take real effort. Later she notices their battered costumes and reads them correctly, as proof of how hard they have chased Endeavor.

On the job she is dependable, whether the task is fighting villains or moving civilians clear, which is how the Paranormal Liberation War opens for her. She also feels the losses. Watching a Near High-End Nomu kill Master Driller visibly shakes her, and she keeps fighting to settle the score.

Moe registered as a Pro Hero and joined the Endeavor Agency, one of more than thirty Sidekicks under the roof and a member of the Flaming Sidekickers. Her Volume 25 profile explains the choice: she was no great admirer of Endeavor at the outset, but seeing his work up close won her over, and her ambition pushed her into the ranks, where she built a considerable name for herself.

She turns up at the agency alongside the three visiting students, then fights through the Paranormal Liberation War, the Humarise crisis abroad, and the Final War, where she stands with the Flaming Sidekickers against Dabi. Eight years after that conflict closes she is still working, now running an independent agency of her own.

Blazing Hair (燃髪, Nenpatsu) is what she fights with. Chunks of the burning mane tear free in her grip and become thrown weapons, and the same power lifts her into flight, which keeps distance as her preferred range.
