Chapter 245

Something in Hawks' face is wrong as he presses Destro's autobiography on Endeavor with a request that he read it properly. Watching the number two hero endorse a book, Izuku wants a copy too, hoping it holds the secret behind that speed, and Hawks hands spares to all three students. Izuku compares him to a preacher spreading gospel, and Hawks agrees, having pushed it on friends, colleagues, and other heroes alike. On his way out he suggests Endeavor glance at the passages he marked, framing it as his second piece of advice, in so many words. Katsuki finds him irritating.

Inside the Endeavor Agency the students walk into a scorching welcome. Burnin describes the workload, warns they will be busy shortly, and tells Shoto not to expect favors for being the boss's son. The office fields more than a hundred requests daily. Katsuki wants to start immediately and is told to wait for orders.

Alone, Endeavor studies the book and replays the handoff. Hawks normally coasts through everything, yet the face he wore was deadly serious. Reading the highlighted passages, he works out the trick: the remark about a second recommendation, made in so many words, points to the second word of each marked section. Strung together, they form a warning.

Flying back, Hawks resents needing anything this convoluted, but heroes are among the Front's allies and his wings are riddled with Skeptic's devices, so there is no straighter road.

He reports to the lieutenants. The ideology is spreading, the Commission still pictures the League as a handful of fugitives without registering the Liberation Army, Deika City remains under investigation with the soldiers burying the truth, and training for the next generation has begun. Skeptic seizes on that, putting the Starservant fight on screen using footage his gadgets pulled from Hawks' wings. The former League members are startled to see Izuku among the trainees, and Dabi judges neither boy has improved much, which Hawks answers by noting they are still students.

Re-Destro praises the work and dismisses him. Hawks obeys, but leaves a feather behind unnoticed. The lieutenants are discussing a new power headed for Tomura Shigaraki, and once it lands, four months out, the Front will move to destroy everything.

The chapter names the Flaming Sidekickers, the roster working under Endeavor, and debuts Burnin. Hawks' feather surveillance is established, Gigantomachia turns up in new armor, and Endeavor extracts the warning along with Tomura's four-month timetable.

Chapter 245, by Kohei Horikoshi, runs seventeen pages in volume 25 within the Endeavor Agency arc, published October 7, 2019 in issue 45, with Hawks and Endeavor on the cover. Episodes 102 and 103 split the adaptation.
