Ryuko Tsuchikawa

Her civilian look is built on long blonde hair and blue eyes, that hair combed back apart from the bangs left loose at the front.

On duty she wears the Pussycats costume in light blue, adding two blue dots painted on her cheeks whenever it goes on. A tinted visor comes with it, which she uses in tandem with her Quirk. The redesigned version she wears eight years later keeps the original paw gloves with their pink padding.

Ryuko runs loud and hyperactive, with almost no filter for how any of it lands on the people around her. Age is the sore spot: Izuku Midoriya came close to raising it and got smacked for the attempt, since by her own insistence she is still eighteen where it counts. Shino Sosaki describes her as desperate to find love, an impatience that has only sharpened with the years, though the search eventually ends with her marrying someone nearer her own age. Promising young heroes get her open enthusiasm, Katsuki Bakugo, Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Ida, and Izuku among them, and she makes no effort to hide it.

The eccentricity is a dial, not a fixed setting. She can dial it down and hold an ordinary conversation, and she was the one who called Denki Kaminari and Eijiro Kirishima weird for how the two acted over dinner. Talking about Kota Izumi's past left her visibly grieved.

Her Quirk, Earth Flow, hands her free manipulation of the ground for whatever she needs from it. In the mountains that makes her a rescue specialist. In a fight it makes her a problem. Her signature technique, Earth Beast, sculpts huge golem and beast shaped creatures out of the terrain; because they are constructs rather than living animals, Quirks that only work on animals, Anivoice among them, do nothing to them. Landslide is also on her record.

She ambushed the whole of Class 1-A and forced the entire group onto the defensive. The students eventually broke her Earth Beasts and reached the training camp lodge, but only after burning through their Quirks and arriving badly worn down. Against villains the Quirk counters even severe threats, holding up against Decay and against Double when Tomura Shigaraki and Himiko Toga were wielding them. Kenji Hikiishi of the League of Villains sized her up as the strongest of the Pussycats and the biggest danger in the room, and dealt with her by knocking her unconscious before the battle could develop.

Outside combat, she and her teammates cook. The banquet the Pussycats laid out on Class 1-A's first day at camp went over so well that Denki Kaminari rated it alongside Lunch Rush's food.
