Edgeshot folds himself into a thread and moves faster than sound. Shinya Kamihara spent a career near the top of Japan's rankings on precision alone, then spent most of his own life force threading himself into Katsuki Bakugo's chest to serve as the boy's heart.
Shinya is compact, lean and muscular, and noticeably short next to the other heroes at his rank. Gray hair falls in three sharp points across the right half of his face, above dark gray eyes and a mask that hides his nose, his mouth and a thin moustache. The costume is a ninja's: a blue face wrap tied off at the back with red yarn, red shinobi shozoku under a blue robe, arms sleeved in thin dark cloth that disappears into white forearm covers, red straps trailing outward from belt and robe, a gold mask fixed to the right shoulder, a red scarf patched in white at the front, and blue socks in yellow zori.
All of that is undone in the Final War. Zenith reduces him to a single strand of thread with a miniature head at the end, and recovery is slow: tiny arms with five tiny fingers come back first, and eight years later he is full sized again apart from a left arm still made of thread, brown and slight in the manga, red and normally proportioned in the anime. Age has put lines around his eyes, the hair is shorter now, and the long fringe covers the left side of his face instead of the right.
He carries himself the way a shinobi is supposed to, quiet and centered, and he is the one who talks his colleagues down when a situation starts coming apart. The mind underneath is quick: one look at All For One using Warping was enough for him to work out how the Quirk functioned. He moves early to keep a fight from happening at all and does not flinch from the worst version of one, which is how a man his size ended up standing in front of All For One to buy All Might room.
The clearest statement of who he is came at the end. With Katsuki Bakugo's heart stopped by Tomura Shigaraki, Shinya volunteered to go inside the boy and stitch him back together, knowing the cost would likely be his own life, and did it anyway.
Foldabody flattens and stretches any part of him at will until he is effectively a razor-edged string, and the transformation happens faster than sound. He uses it to slip through doorframes and gaps and open passages that should not exist, to fight in the air by folding himself into a drill and steering around a target, and above all to stab: a body folded into a blade reaches an opponent before the opponent registers movement, and a strike placed correctly cuts blood to the brain and drops them unconscious. The cost is written into the Quirk. Stretched too thin, he burns lifespan, and enough of it leaves him fading away.
He sat fifth in the national rankings and moved up to fourth when All Might retired, having mastered the Quirk completely and folded it into a ninja's method. At Kamino he ran both Kurogiri and a low-grade Nomu through before either could act, taking Kurogiri out of the fight before a single warp; Magne could not even work out what had happened, the speed was so far past her. He and Endeavor later teamed up to relieve a struggling All Might against All For One and walked away unhurt. During the Paranormal Liberation War he cut through Front soldiers on his own and beat Re-Destro, the Meta Liberation Army's former leader, taking only moderate damage for it. Analysis matters as much as speed for him; when Nomu began arriving at the hideout through warps nobody could account for, he deduced that a second party was doing the warping and was proven right by All For One.
Fishhook Snag, Spiral Spear Hand, Pulp-Thread Throttle and Thousand Sheet Pierce all run on the same principle of twisting himself into a point, whether to drag an enemy back, halt them, coil around and perforate them, or knock them out by cutting off their circulation. Substitution Jutsu swaps him with a log an instant before a strike lands. Zenith is Thousand Sheet Pierce taken to its limit, stretching him far enough to enter another person's body and act as surgical suture. He founded U.A.'s Textile Arts Club with Tsunagu Hakamada, nominally a club and actually a way for two students with similar Quirks to train.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
During the Final War, Shinya Kamihara is reduced to a single strand of thread by the toll of his Zenith technique after volunteering to stitch Katsuki Bakugo's stopped heart back together. He slowly recovers over the following years, though eight years later his left arm remains made of thread.
Yes, Edgeshot, whose real name is Shinya Kamihara, used his Zenith technique to stretch his body into Katsuki Bakugo's chest and act as surgical suture after Tomura Shigaraki stopped Bakugo's heart. He knew the act would likely cost him his own life but did it anyway.
Edgeshot, whose real name is Shinya Kamihara, is voiced by Kenta Kamakari in Japanese and John Burgmeier in the English dub.
No, Edgeshot is male. His real name is Shinya Kamihara, and he is a pro hero who once ranked as high as No. 4 in Japan.
Shinya Kamihara's Quirk is called Foldabody, which lets him flatten and stretch any part of himself into a razor-edged string faster than sound. He uses it to slip through gaps, fight in the air, and strike opponents unconscious before they can register the movement.
