Underneath everything he is a lean Italian with sunken green eyes, stubble across his upper lip, and black hair combed flat back, dressed the way his family dresses, in black blazers, vests, and bow ties. Taking over the business added a white tuxedo worn over the usual black.

The Dark Might face is a near-copy of a young All Might at full power, down to the bulk and the two upright blond tufts. The tells sit in the details: heavier brows, darker skin, a larger hooked nose, sharper cheekbones, and his own green eyes ringed with shadow in place of clear blue ones. He pairs the white tuxedo with a dark blue shirt, a bow tie in pale blue, and a red rose at the left lapel, plus eight gold rings across his fingers with none on the thumbs, two stamped with All Might's silhouette.

The costumes track his ambition. A metal mask on leather straps pinned the tufts flat beforehand, and a crimson-lined blue cape marked his unveiling. A feathered blue bodysuit with a star painted beside one eye lasted only until Katsuki insulted the design. He moved to a blackened take on the Silver Age costume, then to the Golden Age look as Anna Scervino's power made him taller and heavier with longer hair.

When Overmodification slipped its leash the suit itself remade him into a giant shaped like the U.S.J. Nomu, colored like the Golden Age design, clawed, eyeless, spiked at the head and back in mockery of All Might's tufts, and mouthed like a chasm. A further dose turned the skin red, swelled the torso until it dwarfed his legs, and sprouted extra arms around a split jaw and three smaller heads.

He came up in the family as a grim, joyless killer, and the ruthlessness spared nobody, his own father included, whom he shot at point blank range in the man's office. Even then he admired All Might, but only the power. His father had already named the flaw: what made All Might was the will to help people, not his strength.

Once the Gollinis were the terror of Europe, and after All Might's second victory over All For One, that admiration curdled into a project. He copied the face, the manner with civilians, the costume language, hoarded framed photographs in a dark room, and replayed the Nomu Factory fight endlessly. In public he plays loud and grandiose, certain that raw power is the entire job description of a Symbol of Peace. What he never imitates is the kindness. He offers Deku a chocolate bar and plays the gentleman around Anna, yet he calls other heroes amateurs and abducts hundreds of people, labeled specimens, to be made into living weapons. Deku's Danger Sense read his intent instantly.

His ego is enormous and brittle. Told to his face by All Might that he cared only for the look of power, he simply renamed himself Dark Might and pressed on. He treats combat as entertainment and credits opponents who supply one, then taunts them for failing to mark him. His arrival is timed to Japan's chaos and serves his family's reach; when Class 1-A refused to kneel he aimed the Symbol of Paradise at U.A., reasoning that a country left with nothing would come to him. Failure gets punished, as Paulo and Simon learned, though Deborah survived because Day Dream kept Anna docile.

For all the bravado he is a coward. Learning that All Might had already named a successor made him eager to test Class 1-A, and he attacked them where their reverence lived, twisting their hero into a tyrant. Once the damage stripped his disguise and exposed his real features he panicked and whimpered while Deku, Dynamight, and Shoto saw the fraud plainly, and All Might was sickened to find his final message perverted this way. Valdo grasped too late that his father had been right, and still wanted more power, announcing that he would be not merely the new symbol but the new world.

Alchemy transmutes the matter of anything nonliving he touches into working objects, weapons, buildings, or raw glowing energy. Whatever he keeps hold of stays editable, letting him open pitfalls and hidden doors that vanish without a trace or undo damage done to his creations. It stops at living matter, and everything he has made collapses if he is knocked out. Its everyday use is the bodysuit that turns him into a young All Might.

Anna Scervino's Overmodification changed the scale. Range widened until his hands became unnecessary, structures grew vast, and the disguise gained versions of All Might's strongest techniques, though never his actual physical strength, which is why he keeps his distance. His public debut converted a mountain of gold coins and the wreckage of a city into the Symbol of Paradise, a fortress of many chambers he could rearrange at will, and the light thrown off swallowed everything nearby, carrying away crowds of civilians along with Class 1-A itself. He claimed the boost had taken him past All Might at his peak.

Deku observed that Alchemy looked from the outside like several Quirks at once: glowing projectiles, weaponized pillars of stone, shields that shrugged off heavy blows and point-blank gunfire, earth raised on command to stop a shock bullet from Giulio Gandini's revolver. A single launched fist dropped a modified Ginji Kurau with a shockwave behind it. The constructs still break under enough force, and the flash was always in service of imitating a strength he did not have. He is dangerous up close regardless, having disarmed Giulio and come near to killing him before Deku intervened, and his monster forms moved at blinding speed, taking Deku, Dynamight, and Shoto together to finish.

He is sharp besides, having dissected every Ultimate Move All Might ever used, from the Young Age through United States of Smash, and rebuilt them in his own idiom as Bologna Smash and Torino Smash. He read Deku's Smokescreen and Full Blast feint the instant he glimpsed Giulio moving in the haze, and aimed his psychological attacks with the same precision. As head of a syndicate thousands strong he commanded absolute obedience, enough that Hawks knew the Gollini profile on sight. Sleight of hand rounds it out: he conjures and vanishes objects and pulls endless coins from his sleeves to feed the Quirk.
