A Chain of Events, Across the Ages

The shapes on the horizon were Ethan Drive's X-66 fighters, drawn up as anti-aircraft cover around the floating campus. The pilots break formation to ferry Deku, who latches Blackwhip from plane to plane at top speed. Ethan sends him off with encouragement, admitting his squad is already defying orders to withdraw, because Star and Stripe staked everything on Japan's heroes.

Arriving to a reactivated barrier, Deku asks Lemillion for a briefing and then freezes at the sight of Dynamight's body and the beaten heroes. "Tomura" mocks him for being late, correctly guessing Himiko caused the delay, and Deku begins to spiral as in their last meeting: Full Cowl spikes, smoke pours out, and Blackwhip tendrils erupt. The villain welcomes it, expecting the same simple, readable opponent he faced after stabbing Dynamight. Lemillion wades through the smoke, grips his underclassman's shoulders, and tells him the provocation is deliberate, that everyone is alive, and that Edgeshot is fighting to save Dynamight. When "Tomura" calls that empty talk, Lemillion answers that heroes work to make such things true. Recalling All Might, Ethan's parting words, and Daigoro's lesson about governing his heart to grow stronger, Deku shuts every Quirk down, apologizes, and is told to save it for after the win.

Composed now, he reactivates Full Cowl behind a bank of smoke with Blackwhip coiled through his fingers, and asks All For One whether Tomura still exists in that body. "Tomura" insists he does not, despite Tenko surfacing repeatedly, and warns Deku not to expect a happy ending. Nana's vestige disagrees: one finger of the deformed left arm, the one resembling Kotaro, looked back at her. The villain leaps hard enough to crack the ground and tilt the Coffin, declaring he is coming to reclaim his little brother, then drives a massive fist down that Deku blocks.

Combining Blackwhip with stored Fa Jin, Deku binds the arm with Blackchain and hurls him into the loosened metal cubes. The Second User warns that if the next move fails to finish this within five minutes, the world falls. Deku uses it anyway: Gearshift, the last power in One For All's core, which alters the movement speed of whatever he touches at a cellular level and ignores inertia. Transmission puts him in front of the villain instantly, and three escalating gears of speed each land hard enough to crack the sound barrier, cutting through the boosted defenses and sending him up vomiting blood. Overdrive carries Deku above him for a 120 percent Detroit Smash, since generations of accumulated strength have supercharged a Quirk that once only moved small objects, a fact that stuns All For One, who killed its original owner. Yoichi proposes ending their long war now, while "Tomura" grows confused at suddenly seeing both vestiges.

Deku follows with Detroit Smash: Quintuple, defeats an anticipated counter by shifting into Low Gear, and juggles the villain using Blackwhip, Float, Smokescreen and Danger Sense while Gearshift cools down. In full command of every power he has inherited, he shreds the giant left arm and punches through the torso. Yoichi sees his brother in the hole, confirming Lemillion's account, and the fused vestige tearing at itself inside All For One's core; the Second User reminds Deku of Nana's request about her grandson. Furious at losing while unable to reach his body's true power under constant Erasure and the Coffin's suppression, "Tomura" screams as a ball of flesh pushes out of the wound. Elsewhere, the monstrous Spinner keeps marching on Central Hospital.

Lemillion talks Deku out of his rage before it can be exploited, and Nana confirms Tomura still survives inside the fused body.

Gearshift is revealed as One For All's final stored Quirk, and Deku uses Transmission, Overdrive and a 120 percent Detroit Smash to take total control of the fight before "Tomura" begins another transformation.
