Humarise

Founded in Otheon, Humarise organizes itself around a single unproven prediction: that Quirks will grow stronger with each passing generation until nobody can hold them in check, and that mankind will collapse when they do. Nothing has ever confirmed the Quirk Singularity Doomsday Theory, yet the faithful treat it as settled fact and build their doctrine on top of it.

The result is a vocabulary of contempt. Powers register as sickness, so anyone born with one is labeled diseased or infected, while the Quirkless are honored as pure humans. Salvation, in this reading, means stripping Quirks out of the species, and the cult concludes that killing everyone who carries one is the only path that spares the rest.

Most followers were born without powers, though a sizable minority do have Quirks, the founder included. Some treat their own abilities as a sin to be repaid with their lives; others simply calculate that standing inside the cult is safer than standing outside it. Brownish frocks, white monastic scapulars with cowls, an embroidered emblem, and masks over the face give the membership a uniform look. That emblem is a six-pointed roundel split down the middle, reddish on the left and dark brown on the right, the darker half broken into fragments.

Flect Turn built the movement out of his own misery. Unable to manage his Reflect Quirk and shut out of anything resembling a normal life, he encountered the doomsday theory and became fixated on the idea that powers would end humanity the moment they slipped past control. He swore to remove that threat himself.

Outsiders wrote the group off as dangerous fanatics, but recruitment climbed anyway, pulling in Quirkless people alongside power holders who feared what they carried. Branches opened in twenty-five cities, Tokyo, Paris, New York, Singapore and Cairo among them. With money and influence secured, Flect Turn had scientists and engineers abducted and forced them to build the Trigger Bombs, devices meant to purge a population of its Quirks and leave only the Quirkless breathing.

He hid the finished weapons in each branch city, then detonated one in a large metropolis and killed thousands. Humarise claimed the atrocity publicly. The World Heroes Association answered with a coordinated global operation, task forces storming every branch at once, and while hundreds of cultists went to jail, not one bomb and not one senior officer turned up. Heroes were ordered to hold position in their assigned cities, which was precisely what Flect Turn wanted: the world's best defenders standing neatly inside his blast radii.

Two captives cracked the scheme open. Eddie Soul and Alan Kay secretly built a key capable of shutting every bomb down. Eddie was executed once the work surfaced, but Alan fled with the key and a briefcase of evidence, only for Beros to run him off the road as he raced to warn the authorities. In the wreck the case ended up with Izuku Midoriya and Rody Soul.

Hunted by cultists and by Otheon police loyal to the cause, the pair escaped to neighboring Klayd with Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki and opened the case. Flect Turn armed every bomb regardless, seized global communications, and announced a two hour countdown, naming the target cities in the confidence that rescue work would pin the heroes in place. Alan's files exposed the secret headquarters, and the four fought their way inside: Bakugo beat the Serpenters, Shoto defeated Leviathan, Deku broke Flect Turn, and Rody carried the deactivation key to its console. Millions survived, the arrests followed, and the cult was dissolved.

Flect Turn founded Humarise and led it to collapse. His Reflect Quirk, the same power that made his early life unbearable, made him the hardest obstacle inside the headquarters, and Deku had to beat him personally before the plan could be stopped.

Beros served as tracker and enforcer, sent to kill Alan Kay and recover the briefcase, and she later fought Deku and the heroes trained by Endeavor during the pursuit, at points alongside agents such as Rogone and Sidero. Serpenters and Leviathan ranked among the high officers hidden at headquarters, falling to Bakugo and Shoto respectively.

Beneath them sat the rank and file, mostly Quirkless believers, plus armed Quirk users posted to guard the bombs and willing to die on the spot. The cult's reach also ran into the Otheon police, whose compromised officers joined the manhunt at their leader's request.
