Role

The band formed at some point before the story picks up and built a reputation as genuinely capable musicians, though nothing suggests they had ever played a show on the scale of Narufest. The Marukane Department Store called them in for its live event, which put them on the same bill as Pop☆Step, the duo Feathers, and East Naruhata High's dance squad. Rather than compete, the acts combined into a single unit called FeatherHATS, and the festival became their first major concert.

The leader gets a small subplot out of it, falling for the dance squad's captain from East Naruhata High during the run-up.

Betten Court's character notes reveal a design intent the manga never states outright. Through his clothing, the leader was meant to read as British, while Akira was styled to look American.

Notable Members

The leader goes unnamed and fronts the band on guitar and vocals. Daiki drums, Hiroto plays keyboard, and Akira handles bass. All four perform under the FeatherHATS banner alongside Kazuho Haneyama and the other Naruhata acts.
