Katsuki Bakugo's sweat is worthless once it disperses, so his costume carries two grenade-shaped tanks that hoard it instead. Pull the pin and the whole reserve detonates at once, giving him a blast on a scale his arms alone could never manage and sparing him most of the damage.
Dark green with silver trim, these two bulky arm units are shaped after grenades and function much like storage tanks. They were folded into Katsuki Bakugo's hero costume as a specification rather than an afterthought, and the English dub of the series renames them the Grenade Gauntlets.
Their reason for existing is straightforward. Katsuki wanted to let loose at full scale without wrecking himself in the process, and the gear takes on the burden his body would otherwise absorb.
Each unit collects Katsuki's sweat and holds it until the reserve is full, wringing everything Explosion has to offer out of the accumulated fuel. Yanking the pin dumps the lot in one enormous discharge. The Battle Trial gave an early demonstration of the scale involved, when a single release came close to leveling the building he and Izuku Midoriya were fighting inside.
Damage opens another option. A ruined bracer can be thrown at a target and set off as an external blast, which is what Katsuki did to the Serpenters during their fight.
Katsuki is the intended owner, and his athletic conditioning means the recoil barely registers with him. Izuku borrowed one at the First Term Final Exam to fire on All Might, and afterward complained that the kickback had punished his shoulder.
The design has been reworked more than once. The World Heroes Association issued Katsuki a stealth costume for the Otheon leg of Mission: Humarise, and the bracers were restyled as flashbang grenades to match. Eight years past the Final War, he revised them again, trading the grenade silhouette for something closer to smoke canisters.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

There are no women on Namek. That isn't an oversight, it's the biology. Why we handed Piccolo the one thing his own species rules out, and why it had to be trap soul....
Katsuki Bakugo's gauntlets are the Grenadier Bracers, two dark green arm units shaped after grenades that were built into his hero costume. The English dub of the series calls them the Grenade Gauntlets.
The Grenadier Bracers let Katsuki Bakugo cut loose with his Explosion Quirk at full scale without wrecking his own body, since the gear absorbs the burden his arms would otherwise take on.
Katsuki Bakugo's signature support gear is the Grenadier Bracers, a pair of storage units that collect his sweat and release it as an amplified explosion, sparing him the strain his Quirk would normally cause.
Pulling the pin on a Grenadier Bracer dumps its entire stored reserve of Katsuki Bakugo's sweat in one massive discharge. During the Battle Trial, a single release nearly leveled the building he and Izuku Midoriya were fighting inside.
Izuku Midoriya borrowed one of Katsuki Bakugo's Grenadier Bracers during the First Term Final Exam to fire on All Might, and afterward complained that the kickback had punished his shoulder.
