Chapter 132

Deep under the Shie Hassaikai compound, Tomura Shigaraki calls the reception room dreary and gripes about the half hour spent winding through corridors to reach it. Kai Chisaki likes the bareness, and notes the tunnel maze exists to lose anyone watching. Mimic, general manager of the yakuza outfit, credits that caution for the group's survival and asks whether the phone call meant what it said about an alliance on terms. Tomura props a boot on the table and argues the two organizations want compatible things: Kai wants the League of Villains name behind him, and expansion suits both.

Told to remove the foot, Tomura insists the bowing should run the other way, since his people answer to nobody and move as they please, though a joint venture remains possible. A second condition follows: full disclosure, because he will not lend the name to a worthless scheme. When his hand slips inside his coat, Chronostasis puts a gun to his skull and Mimic clamps onto his head, both condemning his arrogance. Tomura throws Magne's death and Mr. Compress losing an arm back at them. Kai orders his men off, since the guest came willingly to discuss the future, and both obey. Tomura draws out what resembles a tranquilizer round and asks whether it belongs to the plan.

Over in the Kansai region, Eijiro Kirishima and Tamaki Amajiki patrol the Esuha Market alongside the BMI Hero Fat Gum, whose office prefers not to arm itself. Eijiro is glad to have been accepted after Fourth Kind passed on him, while Tamaki finds his classmate's forcefulness unsettling. Fat Gum wants that dismal mindset repaired, since the talent underneath is not in doubt. Tamaki suspects he was scouted purely for torment, and protests that he is no optimist like Mirio Togata. Eijiro answers that he is not one either, that helplessness has dogged him plenty, and that closing the gap with his classmates is the whole point.

A turf dispute erupts nearby, and the fleeing thugs blunder into Fat Gum and begin sinking into him. One folds himself free using something close to Edgeshot's ability, only for Tamaki's octopus tendrils to reel him back into a clam-shaped strike across the face. His Quirk, Manifest, lends his body the traits of whatever he has eaten. Fat Gum rates the power above many professionals and repeats that the mentality is the sole remaining problem. In the crowd, a man draws a gun for the sake of his brothers, and Fat Gum bellows for everyone to get down.

Underground, Tomura holds up the bullet and reports that Mr. Compress could no longer use his Quirk once it hit him. Kai answers that he means to destroy justice, borrowing loosely from how All For One ruled by taking abilities away, and confirms every preparation is on schedule. The shot fires and strikes Tamaki. A second is aimed his way, but Eijiro shields him and takes the hit, his Hardening already active so the round simply bounces off to the gunman's astonishment. Enraged, Eijiro swears to bring the man in.

Tomura grudgingly commits the League of Villains to supporting Overhaul's operation.

Overhaul discloses that his plan centers on manufacturing bullets capable of stripping a person's Quirk away.

Eijiro is confirmed to be working under Fat Gum alongside Tamaki, and the trio put down a gunman who opens fire on a crowded street.
