Summary

Every hero joining the rescue receives paperwork covering the layout of the secret complex beneath the Shie Hassaikai, the fastest route to Eri, and profiles of several yakuza Quirks. At eight in the morning, outside the police station, Sir Nighteye asks the Police Force to lock down all positions quickly so the gang gets no window to hide anything. Eijiro Kirishima is itching to go, Ochaco Uraraka is nervous, and Tsuyu Asui admits nothing about this resembles anything she has done before. Ryukyu understands, having felt the same as a rookie. Izuku Midoriya notices Gran Torino is missing, and overhears a man telling Nighteye that the old hero has been pulled away by League of Villains business.

Shota Aizawa asks Izuku whether he grasps what fighting at his side entails, and gets confirmation. The officer running the operation warns that any resistance or suspicious movement is to be handled on the spot, that yakuza demand a braced mindset, and that nobody may drop their guard for an instant. Fat Gum passes a swordfish to Tamaki Amajiki to chew on. Inside the compound, Overhaul stands over a bedridden man kept alive on machines, calls him father, and apologizes for the racket about to start.

At half past eight, heroes and police form up outside and the operation goes live. A man steps forward to buzz the intercom and read the warrant, and the gates erupt instead, Rikiya Katsukame sending officers flying and grumbling about the crowd at this hour. Izuku snaps into One For All Full Cowl to catch one falling officer while Shota gathers the rest. The police realize the yakuza knew they were coming and wonder whether the whole plan leaked. As the giant winds up another punch, Ryukyu reveals a Quirk that turns her into a dragon, catching the blow on a clawed hand. From dragon form she assigns her own agency's heroes to Katsukame and waves the other units onward, slamming him into the ground as the raid floods inside.

Three yakuza are caught flat footed as the police announce a search warrant covering the manufacture and illegal sale of drugs. One retaliates with a leaf manipulation Quirk and is dropped promptly, and Fat Gum orders everyone straight toward the objective. Below ground, Chronostasis reports that the raid is descending at speed and clearly knows about Eri and the operation. Kai Chisaki is unsurprised that this day arrived, only that it arrived so early. His story is already written: he was never here, and his pawns rioted on their own. He raised them for exactly this. Anyone kept at his side wears a mask, both as proof that he entrusts them with filthy work and because he refuses to share air with the defiled. Chronostasis recognizes the reference to the Eight Bullets, the men who exist to be spent. Chisaki sets them loose to buy time while he clears out everything worth hiding, Eri included.
