Chapter 206

The tower Juzo Honenuki liquefied and Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu shoved has flattened the round's headline fighters. Tenya, limbs pinned beneath the rubble, cannot work himself out of the softened material and can only regret failing to pull Shoto clear before the impact.

In the booth, Vlad King credits Sen Kaibara for stalling Ida long enough to matter and names him the match's MVP, which the student does not appreciate. Mina reckons a field of unconscious bodies hands the win to Class 1-A, but Momo is not convinced, and a delighted Neito points out that the fighters still upright have flipped the picture.

Mezo, who came through Juzo's Softening intact, is still going after Pony as she rides her horns. Momo fills in the gap: while Juzo was trying to break Pony free of Mashirao and Mezo, Pony used spare horns to dump Mashirao in her team's cage. Now she hauls Shoto, Juzo and Tetsutetsu away, slowed by the unfamiliar weight of three bodies. Tenya and Mezo can only watch her explain that a win is beyond her team, but she refuses to let both sides lose. Twenty minutes elapse and the match is declared a draw, with Mashirao and Sen sitting in opposing cages.

Izuku and Ochaco agree a draw must gall Tenya. Shoto wakes later in Recovery Girl's office, offered a Snickers and told Mashirao already claimed his and left. Tetsutetsu, back on his feet and working through a protein bar, floats the idea of a rematch someday. Tenya blames himself for not answering Softening quickly enough; Shoto counters that he was the slow one, admitting his habit of leading with ice when another opening would have served better. Both commit to becoming heroes who arrive for anyone and put people at ease.

Round four gets underway. Neito, thrilled, reveals Team 4-B holds Setsuna Tokage, one of U.A.'s recommended students, and grows unhinged enough that his own teammates and Hitoshi Shinso look on wearily. Team 4-A has reservations about Katsuki's plan, but he commits to it anyway and tells Izuku to watch how far he has come.

The third match is officially ruled a tie.

Mashirao Ojiro's Swamp Smack Spin is revealed.

Setsuna Tokage is confirmed as another student admitted to U.A. by official recommendation, and the fourth round begins.

Fifteen pages long, the chapter was published on November 19, 2018 in issue 51 of that year and collected into Volume 22 during the Joint Training arc. The cover pairs Shoto Todoroki and Tenya Ida with their two opponents from the round.
