Chapter 21

With the fighting done, U.A.'s Pro Heroes fan out to account for the students and staff who faced the League of Villains. Eijiro heads over to check on Izuku, and Cementoss raises a concrete barrier to keep him from glimpsing All Might as he truly is. Cementoss covers for it smoothly, telling Eijiro the heroes need to look everyone over and pointing him toward the front gate with his classmates. All Might offers thanks for the discretion; Cementoss tells him to get to the infirmary and have his injuries treated.

A portal opens at the villains' hideout and deposits Tomura and Kurogiri, who survived only because Kurogiri warped them clear before the void could take them. Sprawled on the floor and aching, Tomura complains that Nomu was beaten, his followers scattered, and All Might still breathing, then admits to someone that he was wrong. From a blank monitor a voice answers that he was not wrong, merely too optimistic. A second voice asks after Nomu, and Kurogiri confesses he could not find the coordinates in time to retrieve him. Mourning can wait, the first voice says: assemble a fresh group chosen for efficiency, and take as long as it takes. Tomura, it insists, matters as a symbol, and the world will yet be shown the horror of what he is.

Out front, Class 1-A is looked over and found intact save for Izuku. The students trade impressions of their first real brush with villains. Tsuyu asks a detective, Naomasa Tsukauchi, about their teachers and Izuku, and hears that the injuries are serious but not fatal. Naomasa heads off toward the infirmary, and an officer reports a suspect picked up four hundred meters away, which turns out to be Nomu.

At the infirmary Naomasa reassures All Might that Shota and Thirteen will pull through, and that without them the children would almost certainly have been badly hurt. All Might counters that the students fought with real courage and made fools of the villains, and that this class will turn out to be fine heroes.

Two days later, Tenya calls the room to order. Shota walks in wrapped in bandages, tells his students not to fuss over him, and informs them that nothing is finished: the U.A. Sports Festival is next.

Tomura and Kurogiri escape and report the failed operation to a mysterious third party.

Cementoss keeps All Might's weakened form hidden from Eijiro, and All Might's daily time limit shortens again after the Nomu fight.

Naomasa Tsukauchi, a police detective and friend of All Might, is introduced, and Shota returns to announce the Sports Festival.

Nineteen pages long, the chapter was published on December 1, 2014 in the first issue of 2015 and collected into Volume 3, closing out the U.S.J. arc. Cementoss, Midnight, All Might, Nezu, Snipe, Vlad King and Ectoplasm share the cover.

The adaptation runs across two episodes, with pages one through seventeen in Episode 13 and the final page in Episode 14.

Sansa Tamakawa and Naomasa Tsukauchi both debut. Locations span Recovery Girl's Nurse's Office, the Class 1-A room and the U.S.J. itself at U.A. High School, plus Kamino in Yokohama, and the U.S.J. Incident concludes here.
