Chapter 230

A memory opens things: Twice trying to replicate the Quirk-Destroying bullets. With no data on the drug and no clear image of it to work from, nothing he makes holds together, and he apologizes to Tomura Shigaraki for failing to deliver the mass production the League wanted.

In the present, that same uselessness still gnaws at him. His comrades took him in, he has always wanted to repay them, and he has never felt able to. His answer is volume. Infinite Doubles keeps churning out copies that tear into Skeptic's puppets and the Liberation Army's warriors, while the original carries an unconscious Himiko Toga away from the fighting.

Watching from the tower, Re-Destro cannot believe the man broke through his own psychological damage, and he says so to Skeptic. Skeptic bristles, insisting he has failed exactly one time, and asks that the remark be amended before walking out to start the next phase. Giran jeers at the collapsed plan to capture Twice, noting that with the shackles off there is no containing him and that the Army's numbers advantage is gone. Re-Destro answers that quality will settle it as a sign of his Quirk creeps across his temple.

Down on the street, Dabi keeps trading with Geten while holding a smoking arm, telling the ice user he is outmatched. Mr. Compress, pinned by his own group of warriors, calls for help; Dabi turns him down and points at the oncoming tide of clones. They arrive loud, checking on both villains, relaying Himiko's condition, bickering among themselves, and multiplying as they roll over the Army. Asked how he beat his trauma, one clone credits love and courage. Mr. Compress remarks that the story sounds oddly heroic, and another clone counters that saving your friends is what a good villain does. When one suggests copying Dabi, Mr. Compress warns that such a double would burn everything flat and leave Gigantomachia nothing but the League to fight. The giant is due awake in one hour and five minutes.

Then ice rips through the crowd and erases clones by the dozen. Dabi grasps how far Geten's control runs: the temperature of the ice is his too. Geten lays out the Army's forecast, that rank will follow Quirk strength and that anything short of raw power is worthless, then notes the smell of Dabi's cooking skin and concludes he cannot survive a long fight without his own flames consuming him. Mr. Compress, coated in the remains of the clones that shielded him, starts wishing for Gigantomachia and marks how readily Geten disposed of his own side.

Daruma Ujiko, listening from his lab, ends the wait. He rouses Gigantomachia and orders him toward the League, and the giant erupts out of a woody mound.

Twice pulls Himiko Toga clear of danger and turns his clones loose to support his comrades.

Skeptic sets off after Twice personally.

Dabi's ice-wielding opponent is named at last: Geten, who points out that Dabi cannot handle the heat of his own Quirk, with the scarring across his body as the evidence.

Gigantomachia wakes and starts moving toward the League of Villains.

The chapter ran on June 3, 2019 in issue 27, spans fifteen pages, and is collected in Volume 24. Twice fronts the cover, fitting for an installment named after his super move. Episode 110 adapts it.

Deika City is the only setting. Mole, Compress, Ice Ply, Blueflame, Anthropomorph and Double all see use, with the Quirk-Destroying Drug appearing in flashback. The Dabi versus Geten and Twice versus Skeptic bouts both continue here inside the larger Revival Celebration.
