Chapter 3.2 (Team-Up Missions)

Tsuyoshi, whose Bristle Quirk leaves his hair rock-hard, takes a newly bought soccer ball to the park while his mother warns him about villains. Three thugs promptly try to take it, and as he panics wondering whether anyone will come, All Might arrives and scatters them, though they get away with the ball regardless. Izuku turns up right behind him, and the two introduce themselves as heroes who keep people safe from villains, with Izuku explaining he is a student riding along with All Might on a mission. Asked whether they can recover the ball, they set off immediately, only for All Might to deflate back into his true form and collapse. Tsuyoshi assumes the shift is his Quirk; the two clarify it is flexing, and that an old fight with a villain means the muscular form cannot last. Izuku proposes calling for backup.

He summons his Class 1-A classmates from U.A., most of them glad to help apart from an indifferent Katsuki, who earns a lecture from Tenya. Tsuyoshi takes in the chaos, Katsuki scrapping with Izuku, Tsuyu and Mina interrogating Ochaco about her crush, Minoru ogling Momo, Yuga and Fumikage muttering to themselves, Shota Aizawa asleep, and wonders whether this crowd can be trusted with anything. In the city, Kyoka listens through walls with Earphone Jack and pins the thieves down. Tenya blasts ahead on Recipro Burst and finds a huge dinosaur villain has already beaten them and is claiming the ball for itself. As Tsuyoshi wonders how anyone fights something that size, Katsuki drops in with a Howitzer Impact, Shoto pins the creature with an Ice Wall, and the boy marvels at how strong students can be. Tsuyu launches Izuku skyward for a finishing Smash, and when Tsuyoshi asks what his Quirk is, Shoto calls it super-strength, the same as All Might's. With every villain captured, Izuku hands the ball back, and Tsuyoshi thanks them all, convinced that heroes really are cool.

Thugs steal Tsuyoshi's soccer ball after All Might drives them off, and All Might's time limit forces Izuku to call in Class 1-A. Kyoka Jiro locates the thieves by sound, Tenya reaches them first and finds a large dinosaur villain has already taken over, and Katsuki, Shoto, Tsuyu, and Izuku bring it down together. The ball is returned, and Tsuyoshi comes away impressed by heroes.

Yoco Akiyama supplies both script and art for this 20-page piece, the second Team-Up Missions bonus. VIZ Media's online service lists it as Chapter 3.2, while Japan's Shonen Jump+ calls it One-Shot 3. It introduces Tsuyoshi and is collected in the series' first volume.
