Summary

Koichi Haimawari and Kazuho Haneyama set out for Osaka, where a regional idol showcase awaits. At Saint Lila's Academy, Yu passes the news to Miu, who envies the trip and dismisses Koichi as dead weight, joking that he is exactly the sort to lose his train while shopping for bento. The prediction lands. Back at the platform, Koichi sprints after a departing carriage with boxed lunches in hand and latches onto its flank using his Quirk.

He reaches Osaka intact, to Kazuho's astonishment, and explains the fresh trick: turning the repelling force in his palms into something closer to suction cups. She grants that it is impressive and calls the discovery ridiculous in the same breath, then tells him to stop testing it all over the city.

A gunman then flees past them with Fat Gum on his heels. The bullets do nothing to the hero, but one knocks his takoyaki loose, and the furious pro delivers six slaps, one per lost piece. Koichi steps in with the rescued snacks, and a delighted Fat Gum hands the thief six pieces as an apology before pointing the pair toward Super Minami and the SS Mall.

Inside the mall's green room, a performer snapping her fingers like crab claws greets Kazuho by her stage name. She introduces herself as Monika Kaniyashiki, billed as the Heike Crab and sponsored by the Kanidoge chain, and promises her routine will sweep the country. Fat Gum meanwhile joins Naomasa Tsukauchi in the media waiting room to plan surveillance against Trigger being slipped into the event. Tsukauchi spots Kazuho on the roster, remembers her from Naruhata, and resolves to watch her closely.
