Chapter 313

Hercules rolls out of the fireball intact, All Might noting that any other car would have been scrap. Two villains leap at him with flaming spears, and he grasps immediately that he is the target and that the point is to split him from Deku. He grabs a spare phone, alerts his team that an assassin is after the boy, then dives out with a suitcase as the car spins into a wall and detonates.

The pair are startled to see him upright, but insist the real All Might died long ago. When he tells them to stand aside, they shake anyway. Remembering the promise he gave Inko Midoriya, he says the boy carries a weight heavier than anything he ever shouldered and looks up to him regardless, and that whatever day harm reaches Deku is the day All Might dies.

Above the city, Deku zigzags out of Lady Nagant's sightlines, reasoning that she cannot reposition as fast as he can close. A round comes in from behind and he deflects it, only for a second to graze his stomach from another angle. Since he senses no other hostility nearby, he concludes that All For One handed her a second Quirk.

Airborne now, she fires again, and Deku sees the trap closing: the nearer they get, the less she needs to calculate, and Danger Sense will stop buying him reaction time. He lands and floods the area with Smokescreen at Full Blast, which startles her by revealing that he carries multiple Quirks too. En objects that emerging from the cloud will leave him a sitting target, and the third user adds that he has never trained with, or even tested, the Quirk he is reaching for. Deku answers that the time for training is gone and he will learn mid-fight, set on forcing her to give up All For One and Tomura's location, then activates Fa Jin.

Nagant repositions above the smoke and shoots what she spots. It turns out to be Gran Torino's cape used as a decoy, followed by a backpack and a mask. She tells him hiding in smoke will not save him, and Deku bursts out of the building beneath her, seizes her, and shouts that he was never hiding in it.

Several villains target All Might, who cows them through sheer force of will alone.

Deku deduces that Lady Nagant carries a second Quirk from All For One, which lets her shoot at him out of the sky.

Fa Jin, the Quirk belonging to the third user, comes to light: it banks kinetic energy and turns it loose.

Deku uses it for the first time alongside Smokescreen, buying enough cover to charge his energy and blast into the sky to grab her.

Seventeen pages, printed in issue 25 of 2021 on May 24 and collected in Volume 32 under the Dark Hero arc. All Might fronts the cover, and Episode 134 adapts the material.

All Might's standoff mirrors Stain's last stand back in Chapter 56.
