Chapter 408

Two months after the escape, All For One corners the fugitives underground, where the sewers hide his brother among their resistance allies, and erases him with a spatial distortion ability, leaving only a left hand behind. The name Yoichi came from him, written with characters for bestow and one, marking the boy as his first possession. Kudo, drenched in that blood, meets the killer's thin, clouded stare, a gaze that reflects nothing and feels nothing, before slipping away.

Studying the severed hand afterward, All For One finds the ability he forced on his brother simply gone, something he has never once seen. Closer inspection reveals Yoichi did carry a Factor, so faint and idle that his own power never registered it as an ability at all, likely stunted by hunger, and he wonders whether it woke on its own.

Elsewhere Bruce examines his resistance partner, who has felt wrong since the last encounter. Having confirmed no contact was made, Bruce finds two Factors in Kudo, his own plus what he calls an unformed dud, and Kudo understands that Yoichi's will now rides inside him. All For One reaches the same conclusion from the other side, that the granted power was swallowed to fill what the Factor lacked, which means his brother endures. Both men replay Yoichi's words, grateful to be kept alive yet sorry his brother sees people only as toys, when an ability that both gives and takes might have been the gentlest thing the world ever saw.

Decades of pursuit follow. All For One kills Kudo, dismissing his own crocodile tears as a tool for confusion, since he corrupts and claims whatever he loathes or covets. Bruce dies later. He founds a cult where a young Kyudai Garaki finds him, and fails twice to pry One For All loose, first from Daigoro Banjo and then from En, before Nana Shimura inherits it from the dying En. Through all of it Yoichi keeps slipping his grasp, which only sharpens the hunt. His supposed last stand against All Might nearly finishes him, until Garaki intervenes.

In the present he screams at Dynamight, blaming Kudo for everything and recalling how he wiped out that bloodline, women and children included. Since he sensed no such blood during the Kamino Incident, he concludes the resemblance sits in the eyes alone, and that a resolve much like Kudo's has reached over the years and the distance purely to obstruct him.

Warping is useless with only All Might and Tomura in range, and a longer fight shrinks him further, while conflict with Tomura is inevitable after one rejection. He drops the idea of hoarding strength for the transfer and fires "Omni-Factor Unleash: All For One Goal", lighting up every Quirk and Factor in his body at once. Yoichi feels him stir in the vestige world. Edgeshot and All Might read the move as one propulsive burst meant to end everything, and All Might screams a warning to get clear, while the young hero wonders aloud how anyone survives that.

The Third User is finally named as Bruce, and the chapter confirms Kyudai Garaki took All For One's body from the morgue after the first All Might fight, explaining his survival.

Omni-Factor Unleash counts as an Ultimate Move, and its price is total. Releasing everything will rewind him into infancy, and he means to finish Dynamight, seize what he came for, and jump into Tomura's body in one motion.
