Chapter 87

Outside the building they take for the League of Villains hideout, Izuku Midoriya, Eijiro Kirishima, Tenya Ida, Momo Yaoyorozu, and Shoto Todoroki ready themselves. Eijiro reads it as a warehouse, and Izuku, noting the weeds swallowing the front gate, guesses the neglect is staged camouflage. A pair of drunks wanders over, and Tenya and Izuku play it cool until they leave. With the street getting shadier, Shoto steers everyone around to the rear, where they find a window. Izuku insists on scouting only, but the interior is pitch dark. Momo is about to create night-vision goggles when Eijiro simply produces a pair. Izuku and Eijiro climb onto Shoto and Tenya, and Eijiro takes one look before handing the goggles over. Through them Izuku counts three tanks holding Nomu, and understands they are standing outside the place where the creatures are manufactured and stored, not where the villains live.

At the real hideout, Katsuki Bakugo needles Tomura Shigaraki about this teacher of his, disappointed to learn he has not been dealing with the actual leader. Tomura tells Mr. Compress to put him under. Then someone knocks, announcing a pizza delivery, which leaves Tomura and Kurogiri baffled. All Might comes crashing through, and Tomura shouts for portals, but Kamui Woods swings in first and pins the villains with Lacquered Chain Prison, cutting off any escape Kurogiri could open. Dabi readies his flames to burn through the wood and takes a kick from Gran Torino before he can use them.

With the League restrained, Mr. Compress works out that the press conference existed purely to make them drop their guard. The door swings open on Edgeshot, the delivery man in question, who remarks that the heroes will not repeat their earlier carelessness while officers file in behind him, and notes the perimeter outside is already sealed. Out there, Endeavor gripes that All Might took the lead instead of him, and Naomasa Tsukauchi points out that his field of view makes him the right man to catch anyone breaking out. Endeavor concedes the logic.

All Might spots Katsuki and praises him for holding up through something so frightening, which Katsuki rejects flatly, insisting he was never scared and was on the verge of beating the villains himself, which rather proves the point. Tomura tells the heroes his side is not short on numbers either and orders every Nomu brought in, only for Kurogiri to find nothing to bring: they are gone. At the warehouse, Mt. Lady drops a truck onto the front of the building with her foot, and she, Tiger, Best Jeanist, and Gang Orca move through the wreckage seizing every Nomu while Tiger recovers Ragdoll, all of it in full view of the horrified students. Best Jeanist reports the site suppressed. Back at the hideout, All Might tells Tomura he underestimated the heroes, the police, and Katsuki's spine alike, and calls the game over.

Izuku's group investigates the building they tracked and discovers it is a Nomu factory rather than the hideout. All Might and the heroes breach the actual League of Villains hideout and take every villain present into custody, while a second hero team simultaneously breaks into the Nomu factory and captures all the Nomu inside.

Eighteen pages, published April 18, 2016, in the twentieth issue of that year and collected in volume 10 within the Hideout Raid arc. Kamino, Yokohama, is the setting, and the Quirks on show include One For All, Arbor, Blueflame, Foldabody, Hellflame, Gigantification, and Fiber Master, with Lacquered Chain Prison as the featured super move. The chapter begins both the Kamino Incident and the Hideout Raid Team versus League of Villains battle. Episode 47 adapts it. Horikoshi's author comment reports injuring his left shoulder in a fall and feeling a new sympathy for Deku, with relief that it was the left.
