Chapter 88

All Might calls it over. Tomura Shigaraki tells him the opposite is true, that this is where the League begins, and that the society All Might built will be snuffed out. He calls for Warp Gates and gets nothing: Kurogiri has collapsed, because Edgeshot used Foldabody to flatten himself thin enough to slip inside the man and knock him unconscious from within. Gran Torino demands to know where All For One is. Tomura goes quiet, drifting back to a childhood horror where no hero ever came, and the teacher who did. The memory boils over into a scream of pure hatred for All Might.

Then black liquid wells out of empty air with Nomu climbing from it, catching villains and heroes equally off guard. Edgeshot recognizes that this cannot be Kurogiri's work, since Kurogiri is out cold. More of the creatures keep emerging. All Might seizes Katsuki, only for black liquid to spill from the boy's mouth and dissolve him out of his hands, which leaves All Might enraged. Kamui Woods calls for backup, but Naomasa Tsukauchi, Endeavor, and the Police Force are buried under dozens of Nomu of their own, and the warehouse team does not answer the radio. Tomura works out whose hand is behind all of it.

Two minutes earlier at the warehouse, Mt. Lady, Best Jeanist, Tiger, and Gang Orca had the Nomu contained and the site secure. Tiger tried to talk to Ragdoll and got no response. Outside, Izuku Midoriya's group had decided to go home. Then a figure resolved out of the dark a few meters from the heroes: the man who wields All For One. He apologizes to Tiger, explaining that Tomoko is comatose because he took Search from her, a Quirk he found quite useful. Best Jeanist wraps him in Fiber Master and tells the others to make sure the villain does nothing at all.

Before anyone can act, the warehouse ceases to exist. A single blast wave, delivered in under a second, levels the building, tears up the surrounding district, and apparently kills the heroes standing there. All For One is furious that they meddled with an apprentice who has finally begun thinking for himself and leading others, and would prefer not to be troubled again. The sheer weight of his presence terrifies Izuku, Eijiro Kirishima, and Shoto Todoroki. Izuku, matching the man to what All Might once told him, cannot accept that this monster is the thing waiting at the end of his road. All For One turns his attention to clearing out the heroes and police holding the League.

Several League members' real names surface: Magne is Kenji Hikiishi, Mr. Compress is Atsuhiro Sako, Spinner is Shuichi Iguchi, Twice is Jin Bubaigawara, and the spelling of Himiko Toga's name is confirmed. Fragments of Tomura's past are shown. A mysterious black goo appears and teleports numerous Nomu into the hideout, and All For One arrives in person, wiping out every Pro Hero at the Nomu factory.

Nineteen pages, published April 25, 2016, in the combined twenty-first and twenty-second issue of that year and collected in volume 10 during the Hideout Raid arc. Kamino, Yokohama, is the setting. Quirks featured include Arbor, Foldabody, Warping, One For All, Hellflame, Gigantification, Fiber Master, and Air Walk, with Thousand Sheet Pierce debuting as a super move. The chapter continues the Kamino Incident and starts the Hideout Raid Team versus All For One battle. Episode 47 adapts it. Horikoshi's author comment mentions an email from an unknown sender asking whether he is Kacchan.
