Summary

With Katsuki Bakugo's hand locked in Eijiro Kirishima's, Shoto Todoroki and Momo Yaoyorozu break away from the area. Tomura Shigaraki, the Vanguard Action Squad and All Might are all startled to learn that Izuku Midoriya, Eijiro and Tenya Ida were on the scene. Unwilling to lose their prize, Magne, Spinner and Mr. Compress improvise a recapture: Magne magnetizes the other two, flinging Mr. Compress at the students. Mt. Lady intercepts him with Titan Cliff and the two collide, stopping him short of the group. Izuku and Katsuki are stunned by her appearance; she tells them to run before collapsing unconscious.

Magne and Spinner ready Twice as their next projectile, only to be struck down at blinding speed by Gran Torino. The old hero grumbles that Izuku has picked up All Might's habits, while All Might himself is still processing that his students came for Katsuki. He is glad of it, though, because he can now face All For One without holding back. The four students flee the battlefield as Gran Torino turns on Tomura and Himiko Toga.

Seeing the situation reversed, with Katsuki gone and most of his squad down, All For One decides to salvage what he can. He forcibly triggers Kenji's Magnetism, and before Tomura can reach Gran Torino he and the Vanguard Action Squad are dragged magnetically into Kurogiri's Warp Gate. Himiko, Mr. Compress, Twice and Spinner vanish through it, Magne hurled in after them. Tomura calls out for his teacher's safety as he goes, and All For One tells him to carry the fight on. He and the unconscious Kurogiri teleport out, and the portal closes.

All Might charges, and All For One uses Warping to drop Gran Torino into the path of the blow, using him as a shield. He voices his hatred: All Might is the man who brought down his comrades, the one who climbed to become the Symbol of Peace while he sank into darkness. He winds up a blast wave meant to catch hero and mentor together, but All Might drags Gran Torino aside and cancels the attack with a Detroit Smash.

Noting the ruin he has made of the city, All For One resolves to endanger civilians so All Might cannot fight freely. Enraged by the cruelty, All Might throws Gran Torino clear and seizes his enemy's arm, condemning him for his crimes and his contempt for people. His punch shatters the mask but is not enough to finish him, and as Gran Torino calls out, All Might slips back into his true form. All For One remarks that he has heard such words before, from the previous holder of One For All: Nana Shimura.
