Kigiri

Appearance

A gas mask hiding the lower half of his face is Kigiri's most memorable feature. Above it sit grey eyes and dull-purple hair of middling length. He dresses in a black cloak over a dark undershirt, finished with lavender trousers and sandals.

Personality

Like several of his fellows, Kigiri has no love for Orochimaru and would rather slip away than serve him. Easygoing next to the rest of the group, he addresses Rinji as Aniki in the manner of a younger brother, doubts Guren's assurances, and dreads death enough to avoid charging recklessly into danger. In quieter moments he enjoys a game of cards and dislikes getting wet.

Abilities

Smoke is Kigiri's weapon of choice. He can loose a blinding screen for cover or twist it into bindings that pin an enemy, and he produces solid clones out of the same haze to fight beside him. Against Kakashi he also showed command of Fire Release, spitting bursts of flame. A cursed seal later granted by Kabuto, drawn in rectangular patterns, floods him with extra chakra and power, though the boost eats him from within unless kept in check with a special pill.

In the field he used those smokescreens to blind Kiba Inuzuka's nose during Team Guren's clashes with the Konoha ninja, and he ultimately fell to Kakashi's Lightning Cutter before Nurari merged his body into a Casualty Puppet.
