Kōsuke is a cheerful messenger toad of Mount Myōboku, renowned among his fellows for great speed and stamina. Posted in Konohagakure as a link to Tsunade, he is slain by Danzō Shimura while trying to call Naruto home during Pain's siege of the village.
Red dominates Kōsuke's colouring, broken by blue markings that circle his eyes and spread over his crown. Green goggles sit across his face, and the kanji meaning gold is printed on his back.
A bright, upbeat sort, Kōsuke follows any instruction the instant it is handed to him, never stopping to question it.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
Famed among his kind for blazing speed and inexhaustible stamina, Kōsuke stays behind in Konohagakure when Naruto Uzumaki leaves to train at Mount Myōboku, bridging the mountain's toads and the hidden village. Answering directly to Tsunade, he stands ready to summon Naruto the moment peril appears. When Pain and Konan of the Akatsuki storm Konoha, he hurries to warn Mount Myōboku and call the boy home, but Danzō Shimura strikes him down before he can. Danzō means to keep both Naruto and the toads ignorant of the assault, reasoning that such blindness lowers the chance of Naruto being seized by the Akatsuki. The news still reaches Naruto all the same, after Gamatama, the mountain's clerk of name registration, notices Kōsuke's name has slipped off the toad summoning contract. Whether Nagato's later revival of the fallen restored him remains unknown, since those returned to life were the ones Nagato had personally slain.
