Later, when the Ten-Tails comes fully into its power, it looses a Tailed Beast Ball at the Allied headquarters, and the blast takes Kussaku's life along with everyone else stationed there. A databook oddly records him as an Iwagakure shinobi rather than a man of the Mist.
