Momo (ninneko)

Momo is prickly and hard to please. He took an instant dislike to Kiba, whom he found dog-scented, to Akamaru for simply being a dog, and to Shino for looking suspicious, and he bluntly told them to leave. Stubborn to the point of pettiness, he grew embarrassed when his own body reacted to soldier pills and dug in his heels rather than lend a hand, later grumbling about how warmly Kiba treated Tamaki and quietly hoping the group would lose their way.

When Kiba and Akamaru tried to grab him, Momo drove them back with his Flea Shuriken, and he escaped a second attack by leaving a Cat Food Clone in his place.

In the events of Konoha Hiden, Momo spotted Kiba Inuzuka, Akamaru, and Shino Aburame roaming Sora-ku and watched them from hiding before stepping out to question why they had come. He offered to guide them to what they were seeking in return for matatabi, certain they carried none; while that was true, Kiba's soldier pills produced a comparable effect on the cat. Flustered by his own reaction and unwilling to be of any use, Momo bolted, only to run straight into Tamaki, who looks after Sora-ku's cats. She scolded him for his rudeness and led the trio to the beekeeper herself, leaving Momo to console himself with the thought that they would probably get lost in the grove anyway.
