Monga

Monga's frame dominates any scene, standing tall and packed with heavy muscle. Brown hair sits above a broad, flat nose and a pair of small dark eyes, and two greyish-blue fang-like streaks run just beneath those eyes. His clothing is Iwagakure's usual red kit, cut with a single left sleeve and a matching lapel, and he ties his red forehead protector bandanna-style with the knot resting at the back.

An unshakeable, gruff confidence runs through Monga. He stays level-headed when a situation turns dangerous, and he guards his fellow fighters fiercely, once boasting that no enemy would touch his comrades while he stood among them. It is that same self-assurance that leads him to face Gari alone. What genuinely wounds him is not the fight itself but Gari's willingness to serve the enemy as an undead tool, an attitude toward death that leaves Monga bitterly let down.

Monga backs his bravado with real skill. Working through Earth Release, he raises stone walls of various sizes to shield allies or pen an opponent in, and turns the same element offensive with Earth and Stone Bamboo Shoot, driving up jagged spikes to skewer a target. His raw power matches his technique, letting him crack solid rock with a single punch. In the field he pairs earthen jutsu with explosive tags to devastating effect, a combination that lets him dismantle Gari in seconds.

When the reincarnated dead surface during the war, Monga commands a small unit alongside Maki and Ruka, tasked with guarding the medical, sealing, and intelligence personnel. Confronted by the very comrade he swore he would never fight, he shoves a tag-laden mud wall into Gari and blasts him apart, then orders Maki to bind the remains. Before the seal can hold, Pakura ambushes him and reduces him to a mummy with her Scorch Release.
