Pale-skinned with frilled blonde hair and light violet eyes, Ranke wears purple armor throughout: a breastplate, plated leggings, and matching boots.

Impatient, loud, and outgoing, Ranke enjoys mocking her enemies in the middle of a fight, a habit that leads her to badly underestimate them while remaining overconfident in her own defenses. That recklessness proves fatal when she charges Gaara without caution.

The Stone of Gelel lodged in her body lets Ranke convert its energy into electricity, shaping it much as a shinobi shapes Lightning Release. The current bends to her will as forcefields, whips, and shockwaves. Drawing further on the stone, she warps into a hulking, deformed monster whose lightning control and raw strength surge dramatically, enough to fling one of Gaara's sand clones hard enough to dent a pipe. In that state she fights with brutal, ramming taijutsu behind her shield. Her power carries a critical flaw, however: lightning rods can drain her electrical charge, leaving her both defenseless and in great pain. She also stands apart as the only one of Haido's knights able to channel an elemental force, though it stems from Gelel energy rather than true chakra.
