Overview

In Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel, Haido commanded a company of knights cast in a medieval mould. He drove them toward his ambition of ruling the world, an aim he liked to describe as forging a paradise cleansed of war. Each knight carried a shard of the Stone of Gelel embedded in the chest, which raised their stamina, physical strength, and healing while granting every user a unique power. Apart from Temujin, all of them could tap the stone to shift into a monstrous transformed shape.

Role

The knights ran their operations from a flying castle that doubled as a warship, and Temujin could beam Gelel signals to it through his sword. Inside sat a great machine that drained the life force of children unable to adapt to the stone, converting them into armoured soldiers for Haido. Ranke boasted that once the Gelel Vein was secured, those children would be discarded as useless. The three female knights fought carelessly, so certain their Gelel powers made them unbeatable that their arrogance led to their defeats.

Notable Members

Haido headed the group, with Temujin, Ranke, Kamira, and Fugai among his knights. Haido launched an invasion of the Land of Wind hunting the Gelel Vein, which pitted him against Naruto, Sakura, and Shikamaru, hired by Kahiko, and against Gaara and Kankuro. Gaara killed Ranke early, and Kamira and Fugai fell in the final clash. The child-born soldiers turned on Haido and shielded Temujin and Naruto from his laser, and the ship, along with Haido, Kamira, and Fugai, was swallowed into the Space-Time Hole. Notably the knights knew nothing of chakra and named their attacks in English, so their powers do not count as true ninjutsu.
