The creature is enormous, so vast that San can stand atop its head and still look tiny beside it. Broad wings spread from its body, their markings converging toward the center, and near its rear sit a pair of jet-like pistons trailing two tails. It has an orange face, green plumage, and white skin.

History
When Team Kakashi is sent to trace a string of missing kekkei genkai ninja, the bird ambushes Sai in midair, wrecking his ink bird and sending him plunging. It goes on to harass Gaara and other Sunagakure shinobi bound for Tsunade, then attacks Team Asuma as they chase Naruto and Sakura. Choji Akimichi finally brings it down, using the Super Multi-Size Technique to slam it into a wall and, in all likelihood, kill it.
